Great stay for the price. Recent reviews spoke negatively about the indoor pool but it was clean and we enjoyed it! Rooms are basic and dated but you can’t beat it for the price, especially during football season

Pleasant stay.

Pleasantly surprised as we went for WVU family weekend. This got us out of the campus and into the beautiful country. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Price was also reasonable. Surrounding area was just beautiful. Nice areas along the Cheat. Would stay here again without hesitation.

The room was clean and comfortable. I read some reviews that the rooms needed updating. This might be true, but my room was clean and well cared for. My son and I played 18 holes and the course was in good shape. Some soft areas from recent rain coupled with some careless cart drivers had left some extra hazards.

Absolutely stunning location, full of beauty. Close to major roads but feels quiet and secluded. We will definitely visit again in-season but this is a phenomenal spot to stay for a day or two when traveling from the Midwest to the Northeast.

The property was super nice upon arrival. Check-in was easy and staff was eager to help. Getting to our room was fast, easy, and convenient. However, we had barely any internet/wifi service. We werent even able to watch an entire episode of a show because of the internet. It just continuously kept buffering. There was no refrigerator, no microwave.

When we checked in, i told the front desk about having 1 room reserved for the first night and 2 rooms for the second night. And that we wanted to stay in the same room both nights and have the second room close to us on the second night. But housekeeping knocked on our door the second day and said we were supposed to be checking out. I went to the front desk and they fixed it. I was also disappointed that the restaurant and bar weren't open for our entire stay. I used to go on golf trips and enjoyed the restaurant and bar.

For my purposes, the resort was great. However, it's sad to see that it has apparently fallen on hard times. The Legends Sports Bar has great food and atmosphere!

The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. We were upgraded from a hotel room to a 2 bedroom townhouse due to electrical issues! What a pleasant surprise!

Clean and comfortable

The young woman working the front desk when we checked in was very pleasant. We got our room upgraded for free without asking, maybe because it's a slow time at the golf course this time of year in the autumn. Some of the things in the unit were a little dated, but it was very comfortable and clean. I slept like a rock. Beautiful area. I would definitely return to this hotel if in the area again in the future.

While this property is outdated, the staff and cleanliness make up for that. We booked a hotel stay, but apparently the hotel was closed, so we were upgraded to a two-story townhouse which gave both my son and me our own bedroom and bathroom! The woman who checked us in was supposed to leave at midnight, but she agreed to wait 30 minutes for arrival.

Upgraded from king size room to a 2 bedroom condo with kitchen. Very nice.

Unique carpet a mix of 3 or four connected by orange duct tape. Front desk is the nicest thing in the hotel. Pictures are Very Very misleading. It’s more like a golf course near an overpriced motel 6. Vending machine not in service no stock, exact change for year old pop tarts. No caffeinated coffee, ran out. No ice, have to go to desk for TP and towels. I know because we stayed for 4 nights. I will say, looked like clean linens and pretty quiet area. Bar was fun Sierra was wonderful!

Dark parking lot with broken pavement makes driving the property at night challenging, especially if foggy. Property is aged with older paint/carpet. The bathroom was dirty and beds are well worn. Good breakfast buffet with hot foods. Advantage was one night booking available for a WVU football weekend, and only 20 mins or so out of town.
