We were very satisfied with all aspects of the room. It would be good to have single frozen meals in the lobby’s items for sale spot to put in the microwave.

I switched to this hotel specifically for the ability to charge an EV. The charger was recently changed to a Tesla destination charger and did not work for my non-Tesla EV. So I ended up paying more for this hotel for no added benefit.

A clean hotel after a long time! ☺️
I loved my experience at Hampton Inn. I have stayed at several hotels over the past few months and I must say that this place was a lot cleaner than some of the other hotels. The beds and pillows were clean. The washroom didn’t look gross. Looks like they might have done some renovations or the hotel is fairly new. Here are some things I liked and I didn’t like. Positive: -Hotel is right off the highway -Shopping/restaurants nearby -Lots of parking space -The indoor pool was clean and heated. My kids loved it. -Breakfast had lots of options -Beds and pillows were comfortable -Washroom was clean! (A big thing for me) -Good quality toiletries were provided -AC/Heater was in good working condition -Carpets were clean and no bad odours in the room Negative: -I wish there was vegetarian omelette. Really wanted to eat the omelette but it had meat in it -Not a lot of storage space to put stuff in -Water flow for shower and sink was not enough Overall, I had a great experience. Will definitely visit again!

Very easy experience. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Enough disability parking available. Rooms were big bright and clean. Staff was extremely accommodating. Early check-in not a problem. Noon check-out means I was well rested for the next leg of our journey. Easy in and out of parking lot with many eating and shopping and adventure opportunities close by. Definitely be recommending this as a great spot to stay when in this area.

This was the nicest hotel we've stayed at with hotels.com. Everything was excellent. The free breakfast was great and the breakfast room was very comfortable and condusive to hanging out with family. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. Great experiencew.

The only reason for the bad rating is due in part to the ladybug infestation and the dead body smell in our room. I borrowed the vacuum cleaner from the cleaning lady to suck up all the bugs. (I have pictures). Also there is clearly a sewage issue in room 516. The room smelled as if a dead body was in there for a week before it was discovered. All we got was a sorry after alerting the front desk.

Great Stay for WVU Family Weekend
Very comfortable, nice common area, great patio area, although it was a little rainy when I was visiting so didn’t really get to use it. Front desk was very friendly and helpful.

The Hotel is great. My issue is Expedia. I booked the hotel and put the wrong date in by accident. I called Expedia right after I booked the hotel and they said they fixed my booking. So I thought everything was fine. After driving 14 hours I went to check in with my small kids. I learned that Expedia had changed everything to the right date on their end and sent me all the confirmation emails. It was not fixed through the hotel. The employee at the hotel was really helpful. I had to contact Expedia and the rep there was helpful and was able to get me a room. Nothing like driving for 14 hours and then sitting in the lobby for an hour figuring out why we couldn’t check in…. I am not sure if I will use Expedia again.

You won’t want to check out…
The front desk staff (Aaron) was so friendly and accommodating. It was spotless, well kept, and so inviting. The saltwater pool was lovely, and the breakfast spread had everything you could ask for. The hotel is 5.5 hours from my home, and I think I would return to the area just to stay there. As my 10 year old said, “This is the coolest hotel we’ve ever been to in our whole lives”.

The breakfast buffet was well stocked with a variety of hot and cold foods. The reception desk attendant was friendly - check-in and check-out were easy. Pool was cold with lots of hair in it. Room was adequate, though mattress and pillows too soft for my taste.
