The property was charming, the room was great. The buffet at the place next door included with you room was fantastic. Different both days we were there. Close to a lot of things to do including the Butterfly sanctuary. The staff are so nice. Enjoyed our stay very much.
Property is beautiful old hacienda. With huge rooms. Do not expect to much modernity. It is rustic, beautiful inside and outside. Owners are very nice people. Buffet next to it was so yummy, not expensive. Transportation was safe and very secure with Mister Miguel Blancas. He was our tours guide. We visited so many amazing places for a reasonable pay. I wil recommend you to get in this stunning town.
Excellent stay to visit the monarch butterfly sanctuary in Rosario which is about one hour drive. Very convenient location so we could enjoy the area without being in a rush. Our room was spacious and had the pleasant sound of the spring water. There is some road noias it's right next to the road. But we alway use the white noise app with ocean sounds to sleep so we were very comfortable. Staff are very pleasant and there is a snack bar and restaurant in the facility. Other restaurant options are only 15 minutes away in Cuidad Hidalgo. We will definitely stay here again!
We loved how quiet and lovely this property was. The room was huge. Shower was the best we have had in Mexico. Lots of hot water. The grounds are great. The restaurant on site served a delicious meal with wine. Continental breakfast in the morning provided everything we needed. It’s on its own - not within walking distance of shops or nightlife…exactly what we were looking for. Loved it. Check in was seamless. The attendant was so helpful and friendly - as was everyone we encountered.
The property is beautiful and charming. The staff are amazing, friendly and efficient. Diana, Nancy, Kevin and Augustin stand out as workers who made our stay memorable. The bartender was great too.
This stay was amazing! The Hotel is an absolute Hidden Gem! Perfect location to go see the Monarchs ( Butterflies) and the Azufres . But what made this hotel extremely special was the Staff. Jennifer at the front desk is the best Hotel Host i have ever seen! Her kindness and attention to detail was absolutely amazing! Chef Francisco at the Restaurant/ snack bar was awesome as well. Francisco was super friendly and his cooking skills might be the best in All of México! Thanks flr all the specially made with love Meals Chef Francisco! If i am ever again in Michoacan this is where i will stay again for sure.

Place was beautiful Rustic. The only problem is that out room was facing road and I did not sleep a bit! Non stop & by non stop I mean NON stop noise of trucks & cars! Also, if you have any physical limitations you want to make sure they don’t give you a room upstairs; no elevators.
WiFi didn't work in room. Rough sheets. Lots of light comes in from lobby at night. Toilet ran so had to jiggle the handle. In Mexico, there are drain covers to block the odor from coming out, but here the drain cover didn't fit. Some food at the restaurant was very good, some bad. I "guess" you could say they have a swimming pool... for children only, in the middle of the parking lot.

Beautiful inside but big difference outside
The pictures shown are true of the inside and rooms but the gardens and pools are all dry. I assume it’s because of the time of year but I feel it should be stated. I was hopeful to walk around this area but it was not inviting at all. The hotel is situated next to a very busy highway and unfortunately we received a room that had windows facing the highway. It was incredibly noisy even with ear plugs. I feel if I would’ve told the staff, they would’ve corrected the issue and put us in a different room but I was too tired to get up. Even though the staff was super attentive, I wouldn’t come back.
