"A Sanctuary During a Long-Awaited Reunion and an Unexpected CrisisOur stay at this home was initially planned as a joyful occasion—a long-awaited reunion with our oldest son after seven years apart. The home itself was absolutely perfect: comfortable, beautifully maintained, and provided the ideal cozy backdrop for us to reconnect and make wonderful memories. It truly felt like a home away from home. We really enjoyed the games provided by our host.However, during our visit, we received devastating news: the sudden and unexpected death of my younger brother. As you can imagine, our focus immediately shifted to managing travel, grief, and the logistics of this tragedy. In the rush and overwhelming sadness, we completely forgot to run the dishwasher before we checked out.We were mortified when we realized our oversight, but the hosts' response was deeply compassionate. They showed incredible grace, immediately prioritizing our family's well-being over the minor inconvenience of the missed chore.We found this understanding and compassion to be exceptional. It confirmed that we weren't just renting a property, but staying in a home managed by truly wonderful, empathetic people. We wholeheartedly recommend this property, not just for its fantastic amenities, but because the owners are people of integrity and heart. Thank you again for being such a sanctuary during one of the most difficult times in our lives"

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at this motel, and I must say, my first impression was a mixed bag. The exterior initially gave me pause, but that concern was quickly alleviated upon meeting the host, who was warm, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. The other guests I encountered were also friendly and courteous. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with the exception of the shower/tub area, which didn't quite meet my expectations in terms of cleanliness but very hot water. However, the motel's interior has been beautifully remodeled, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes guests feel at home. Breakfast is the cold continental service. Despite some initial reservations, I found the motel to be a safe and secure environment - although some businesses area the motel looks a little sketchy. Therefore, I appreciated the effort that has gone into creating a comfortable space for visitors. I'd be happy to provide a more detailed review after my stay is complete. Overall, I was pleased with my experience and would recommend this motel to others"

The little extras—like s’mores kits and ice cream sundae ingredients—were such thoughtful touches. They truly thought of everything, making this one of our favorite VRBO stays yet."

"Host was very attentive during our stay. We enjoyed the location, the house and the pool. My family enjoyed the privacy of the house and we were all able to have our own space if we wanted but all congregated in the kitchen for family games and fun. We made great memories together.
