Owasco Lake Vacation rental for 1- 2 Guests ! Sleeps 2 maximum.
We both have been vaccinated. There is no need to interact during your stay-Self check-in. If you want more details before booking, just ask. We always do our best to help. Our reviews help tell the story. We are close to a 5 rating and have over 130 reviews. We are always looking for improvements to the Rental. We are making outdoor cosmetic repairs and parking area upgrades. This should not impact your stay. Hope you don't think the contactless check in , makes us unwelcoming 🙂. Unique Space! Located on the east side of Owasco Lake. GREAT views of the Lake and Sunsets. One Bedroom Queen bed with Bathroom and fully furnished Kitchen. Private entrance, this is a dedicated space on the second level [13 steps] of our Home. We respect your privacy. We only interact as YOU wish. We can say Hello or help with area info, whatever you wish.
STEPS to the Lake, yes you must be willing to walk to and from the Lake if you want to enjoy the water close-up.. This space is not for everyone. It takes some effort to go to and from the beach area with the steps. Nice dock on the lake front, great for boating have 4- Kayaks for your enjoyment, swimming and more lake use activities. I have 14’ aluminum boat and a canoe also for your use. Fire pit for your evening enjoyment, Yes -I have wood for you.
All new construction, One New Queen bed. Kitchen is ready to go, just bring some food. We supply coffee for our new coffee maker. Deck and Gas Grill for your use. In the unit you will find hand soap, kitchen/bath paper products, nice clean linens, and towels for your stay. All your other needs are just a few miles away-10 miles from Skaneateles and Auburn, 7 miles from Moravia and Fillmore Glen State park. 40 minutes from Syracuse, Waterloo outlet mall and Seneca Falls new Casino. Wine trails within a 40 min. drive in many directions. Many Golf Courses in the area. Off road biking nearby. Montezuma wildlife refuge 20 miles away, Birding, Hiking. Just Ask. Beautiful

This place is absolutely beautiful. The view is so serene and peaceful. The room was very well kept as has everything you need. An oven, fridge, microwave, cookware dishware.The owners are very nice and made us feel extremely welcome. The town is close by with a nice little grocers. The fishing was successful just off their dock. I highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Restful View

Our studio rental was perfect! Comfy bed, great shower, and fluffly towels. The kitchen was fully equipped for preparing anything! Just bring the food, beverages and condiments. However, coffee and coffee maker was provided. The bathroom was sparkling clean! We chose to engage our hosts Carmella and Rod. We had a lot of fun talking about the area. However, they are very respectful of privacy if you prefer. We will be back!

Cozy house and amazing location

Rodney and Carmela are great hosts, had a very nice interaction with them. The apartment is cozy, we enjoyed meals on the terrace with the amazing view of the lake just in front. Kayaks available were definitely a plus!

Relaxing quiet yet close to other lakes, wineries and historical sites

Owners very easy to talk with , very welcoming. Rental view is gorgeous, beautiful view to wake up to every morning and sunsets in the evening. Accommodations comfortable and very clean. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful - as advertised.

The glowing reviews are accurate. Lovely place, lovely hosts, lovely all around. Our trip highlight was kayaking into the sunset only to discover a nearly full moon rise on our way back to the dock.

Relaxing Getway

This was our 2nd time to this lovely lake retreat. We went for a long weekend last year and loved it so much we came back for a week this year. Rod and Carm are lovely helpful hosts.The accommodations are comfortable with a spectacular view of the lake. Just a great place to relax and recharge.

Girls get away

We enjoyed the beautiful lake setting and views. The kayaking was super fun and easy to access once you got down the stairs! Great hiking at Fillmore Glen and Carpender Falls. Thank you to both Rod and Carmela for their hospitality!

Sunset spectacular

Beautiful setting. We needed a central location to explore the Finger Lakes and weren’t disappointed. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The suite had everything we needed.

Amazing view with a cozy vibe

We had such a great time for our two night getaway. The space was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we would have needed. We spent the day on the dock, fishing, swimming, and relaxing. The view of the lake was so beautiful. We didn’t want to leave.

Lake Get Away

We loved the location. Far away from any hint of city yet just a 20 minute drive from neat shops and great dining. The owners, Rod & Carmella, were awesome! The place is very clean. They were very generous with their space including use of the dock, kayaks and row boats. As their listing states...there is a lot of steps!!!! Totally worth the climb up and down to get to the dock! Vacation with a little exercise!

Beautiful countryside oasis

Centrally located to 19 different water falls, it was the perfect place for my wife and i to become familiar with one another again. Away from the monotony of day to day life. Rod and Carm are wonderful hosts, you couldn't ask for a friendlier couple to be your host and have opened their space for all to enjoy. Oh and the sunsets are awe inspiring.

Lovely getaway!

We were the first guests of the season and our hosts were wonderful! The space is smallish and clean with a comfy bed and excellent a/c. It was just enough space for my husband and I. The apartment is right on the lake and has a fantastic view. Nothing is super close out there (as is the case with most of the Finger Lakes region), but there are some great restaurants in the nearby towns, beautiful state parks and tons of water activities. Highly recommend staying at Carmella and Rod's place!

Weekend Wedding

Great stay and beautiful property. They weren't lying when they said it was the best view on the lake. Only 20 mins from Auburn, NY where we attended a wedding. A great weekend getaway and wished we could have stayed longer! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. We cooked breakfast one morning and all the appliances were clean and working. The water pressure on the shower was great. Wifi worked and the space was very cozey. Definitely recommend!

Perfect getaway after SU drop off

Rod and Carm are wonderful gracious hosts. The room exceeded our expectations. Clean, light, airy, and comfortable. We read the description and reviews and knew what to expect with lake access. I’m stair phobic lol so was perfectly happy sitting on the deck to enjoy the breathtaking views. Looking forward to our next stay!
