Escape to the lake and make yourself right at home in our beautifully appointed Cardinal camper, nestled on Site 11 at Eddy's Place — just a short quarter mile from Lake Rathbun Marina. Whether you are here to fish, boat, or simply unwind with family and friends, this fully equipped camper has everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. With two bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and a wonderful outdoor space, this is the ideal home base for your lake getaway.

Sleeping and Bedrooms
The camper features two separate bedroom spaces, comfortably sleeping up to 8 guests.
The primary bedroom is your own private retreat, complete with a queen bed, dresser, closet, and TV — perfect for a restful night after a fun day on the lake.
The second bedroom is a versatile bunkhouse room that doubles as a hangout space for the whole group. Each side features a top twin bunk, while the bottom bunks offer the choice of a double bed or a comfortable couch-style seating area — ideal for kids and guests who love having their own space to relax and unwind. This room is as much a gathering spot as it is a place to sleep, making it a favorite with families and groups.
Bed linens, pillows, and blankets are provided for all sleeping areas so you can travel light and focus on enjoying your stay.

Bathrooms
The camper features one and a half bathrooms for your convenience. The full bath is easily accessible from inside the camper, while the half bathroom features a separate private outside entrance — great for rinsing off after a day on the water without tracking through the camper.

Kitchen
The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook and enjoy meals together. You will find a coffee maker ready to go each morning, along with pots and pans, dishes and silverware for up to 8 guests, and all the basic cooking utensils you need to prepare a great meal. Just bring your groceries and you are ready to cook!

Outside
After a day of adventure out on the lake, gather around the fire pit for s'mores and good conversation under the stars. The campground playset is just steps away, making this a wonderful destination for families with young children. There is also plenty of room on the property to park your boat, so you can come and go to the marina with ease.

Situated at Eddy's Place on Site 11, you are just a quarter mile from Lake Rathbun Marina, where you can launch your boat and hit the water, enjoy a fantastic meal at Louie's Lakeside Restaurant right on the lake, or stop by the gift shop for basic supplies, snacks, or a souvenir to remember your trip. Lake Rathbun is one of Iowa's most beloved recreational lakes, offering excellent fishing, boating, hiking, and wildlife watching throughout the season. Everything you need for a perfect outdoor getaway is right at your doorstep.

What Is Provided
Bed linens, pillows, and blankets are provided for all bedrooms. The kitchen is stocked with a coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes and silverware for 8, and basic cooking utensils. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit and the campground playset. Boat parking is available on the property.
