It might be rated a 2 star, (not sure how hotel rating system works) but this had a “family owned” feel and it was immaculate. We enjoyed the coffee, hot cocoa and snacks in the lobby as well as made use of the fireplace in our room. A microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator/freezer were a bonus. "

"Great room with a good shower. It’s nice to have a microwave & fridge in the room as well. The staff was helpful & polite. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi which has a fireplace next to it! It created a relaxing ambiance. We dined in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised - the service and food were excellent. The hotel offered us a free shuttle ride to the tramway there & back. We highly recommend doing this. Awesome experience. Wonderful hotel! "

"We loved our stay at the Fireside Resort. It was clean, loved having a stand alone accomodation, the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had sufficient supplies to cook simple meal. The fireplace worked great, loved having it on a timer. We used the hot tub a couple of times, it was clean and HOT! The location was a short drive to the ski resort (10 minutes). We found the Ranch lot to be the most convenient with the shuttle service. We dined at Sidewinders and loved the aviation vibe and food was delicious."
