This is the second time I've stayed here. But possibly the last. The owners have changed and the menu vastly reduced. (Not sure if this is another victim of Covid or a new policy. Either way I'm gutted the Fishermans feast is gone). Food in the evening was good though.
Four of us stayed and I was given the wrong room. Ended up in a single though paid for a double. Room was ok so I didn't complain at the time.
It felt like the rooms haven't been cleaned in a while. I get they probably haven't had guests in a while but someone could have brushed away the cobwebs and maybe changed the biscuits.
Breakfast although paid for was not offered, (Covid again!) though they did try to rectify it with a little bag of food. The gesture was appreciated.
It was a Saturday night. Bar full of kids but most of the locals stayed away. Guinness was good though.
