À notre arrivée, la maison était très fraiche c’était un plaisir de s’y installer. On était sur Bernis pour un baptême donc nous n’avons pas passé beaucoup de temps dans la maison mais ce qui est sûr c’est que nous allons garder l’adresse si nous devons refaire un séjour dans la région. "Ronald was a fantastic and friendly host who made us very welcome for our week's holiday based in Nîmes. There was everything we needed, a comfortable bed, very hot water for showers, a lovey private patio to relax in and the kitchen was well equipped too. A short walk in to town was combined with us regularly using the number 7 bus to the centre and to the rail station for our day trips. We downloaded the Nîmes Tango app to get the bus timetable and the local Tabac sold us a 10 ticket pass to...

"Beautiful hotel which should have been a memorable experience however one person at the front desk totally ruined our whole experience. Golden rule of hospitality is first impression is everything and your front of office is always first impression. We were treated so poorly by the rude, unhelpful, unkind and actually nasty front of desk manager that we will never return nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone. There were numerous incidents regarding directions to the parking garage, to my knowledge of directions, to access to the sauna, to the WiFi which was not working , to luggage access to our room up two flights of stairs…but the cherry on the top was when I called reception to let them know there was no “soap” in the bathroom was that I was told I “must come downstairs to get it.” I don’t care this is a 5 star establishment…no hotel 1 or 5 star has no soap in the bathrooms and then tells you to fetch it. When said person whom I shall not name realised by the tone in my voice that that was the final straw, he quickly ran up to the room with a bar of soap. I always read reviews for hotels before I book and the first 10 reviews for Villa Mazarin are all 5 star! Once I started reading further after my encounter with this rude staff member it became clear this is an ongoing serious problem at this establishment. The next morning at the hotel I was told hey are aware of the problem and he is a problem. Sort out your rude staff or Villa Mazarin is not worth visiting"

"The staff was excellent. The lady at the reception area was very helpful checking us in and also informed us of many of the areas restaurants and other establishments. We ate at the hotel and the food was excellent. The staff had a very large group but was able to manage that group and all the other customers at a good pace. The only complaint I have is the shower. The shower head had all these useless gadgets (such as color in the shower head) - but one couldn't keep the shower head in one spot. There was also a pool on the property which was nice until all the parents let the children do as they pleased, as they did their own thing, - then the older group left."
