The location is wonderful as well, it's close to Omega park and the tiny town itself is worth exploring - especially several restaurants that really exceeded our expectations. "

"It was as great as i imagined. There was a pack of 8 wolves. When we arrived in the afternoon, we coul kind of see them laying on the rocks. Closer to evening and in the morning they were very active. Many great pics and video of them howling!"

"We found this place after another reserved camping cabin turned out to be terrible, and I needed a quick change of plans to salvage our trip. We absolutely loved it here! The proximity to the lake and the private little beach set up they have is awesome, the cabins are gorgeous and very cozy, having a full BBQ made things so easy, and the beds/pillows are divine. We went SUP-ing both days (the lake is amazing and only a few min walk). And the trail access is right behind the cabins, which is awesome. We also enjoyed the beach volleyball court behind the cabins, and I noticed there's a ping-pong table too. No shortage of outdoor things to do! It might be different if all the cabins are full (e.g. less privacy, as they are close together) but we really enjoyed it and loved having a campfire in the evenings. We even found a great spot to hang our hammock. My daughter does want to suggest possibly adding a cornhole game in the open field in front of the cabins. :). Can't wait to come back!"

"For a resort they are getting a bit tired. They need an activity director and they need to start adding more resort like activities restaurants close early and it’s hard to just get a coffee in the morning. "

"Manoir Chamberland is a real gem of a place. Just 90 minutes away from Ottawa, it was the perfect staycation escape for me and my wife for a couple of days. The lazy elegance of Montobello is captured beautifully in this renovated heritage hotel by Dominique and Ross. The hotel is beautiful inside and out with designer appointments. The gardens are beautiful. We went in spring so could not enjoy the pool but pool side dining seemed inviting. The best part of our stay was a three course breakfast. It was as unique as it was delicious. Ross and Dominque made the whole experience very relaxing and memorable for us. We will definitely visit again. "
