We had a wonderful stay. My favorite part was the remote location with a beautiful view. The cabin is spacious and has fun indoor and outdoor activities. We will definitely consider staying again in the future.
The cabin is tucked away in a beautiful location. Mornings there are peaceful. The place I âd bet family friendly and ALL of us were very pleased with our stay!
The cabin is amazing, with plenty of room for everyone. We really enjoyed the game room and outdoor activities. The view was beautiful and early mornings on the deck was truly spectacular.
Thank you for allowing us to stay.
What an amazing place to stay ! So beautiful and has an amazing view. We had a family reunion /Wedding celebration . The cabin was very clean and decorated beautifully. I really canât think of one complaint it was Amazing.
This property is well Maintained and in excellent condition. The host is quick to communicate and has minimal restrictions on the property making you feel like family. This has been an amazing experience and I highly recommend this cabin. Working with this property owner was a breeze.
We held a family reunion at this property. We had 12 adults and a pile of kids. The hosts were very responsive with anything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. The house was clean and the beds are comfortable. The game room is awesome and provided a place where cousins could connect and enjoy each other. The wrap around deck was a favorite with the kids and adults alike. The views are spectacular. There was enough room between the kitchen/dining area and the deck outside for everyone to relax and be comfortable. Reasonable distance to Beat Lake and there are dirt bike/ATV trails right from the house. Would definitely come again!
A few thoughts
⢠Weâll start with the good things
o This is a beautiful âcabinâ, and it sits in a beautiful location
o It was very clean
o There was a well-stocked kitchen and pantry
o There were lots of games to play, a pool table, air hockey and foosball tables â all in good working order.
o Thereâs a lovely firepit with plenty of wood provided
⢠Now for the less appealing portions
o There are too many beds stuffed into fairly small rooms â can it sleep 20 people? Maybe, but theyâd better be good friends and not need personal space!
o ALL the closets and dressers were completely full with, presumably, the ownerâs clothes (even underwear and socks â eww!) leaving no room for a guest to unpack.
o There was a prescription medication in one of the kitchen cabinets â this particular medication is now a controlled substance!
o There is a liquor cabinet that is unsecured. It would be so easy for the wrong hands to get hold of this, as well!
o There was also a smelly porta-potty at the foot of the entryway stairs with a sign for âGuests â please be sweet and use this seat.â We used the facilities in the house!
While we enjoyed our stay in this location, it definitely gave the vibe of âYou donât live here so donât get comfortable.â It felt very much like we were intruding on someone elseâs home.
I really wanted to give a stellar review of this home â it really is a beautiful, luxurious cabinâŚbut there were just a few glaring issues. Would I go there again? No, probably
We have stayed here before and we will be back again. Can't beat the location for some fun sxs rides in the mountains and the porch is amazing, i could just sit there all day.
Beyond Thankful of finding such a perfect and beautiful place to have a family getaway. We had plenty of room for all of us. The rooms with multiple beds were still very spacious and comfortable. The down stairs game room area was perfect to gather during the hot afternoons or late nights. Morning on the deck or down stairs in the grass was perfect for coffee and gathering. Kitchen was perfect to make meals and had everything we needed plus more! 15 min away from the store and not far to bear lake.we already plan to book this cabin next year!!
Itâs a really nice house, everything was clean and organized. We all enjoyed going together as a family and really recommend renting this house for a small vacation. We also really enjoyed the game room we all had a blast playing games together.
We had our family of 14 for our vacation at the Antler Alcove (titled by our grandchildren). When we first booked we were concerned that it was too far away from Bear Lake but found the 30 minute drive not to be an issue. The solitary feel was definitely worth the drive. We very much enjoyed being away from the crowds. The surroundings are beautiful. The cabin is beautiful decorated and well stocked with everything we needed from crock pots to grills and everything in between. Haylee was very responsive to all of our questions and a fantastic host. We had an exceptional time together as a family! Darin
I can not say enough good things about this beautiful property and cabin. The 40 acres were stunning. The cabin was so cozy. We had all the amenities we needed and more. And to top it all off, Haylee was so communicative. Checked in before, during, and after our stay. She watched the weather to make sure we had all we needed to get in and out of the property (including coming twice to snow plow).
We had the most incredible time with our family and friends. We sled, snowboarded, snow-shoed, cross-country skied, and enjoyed happy hour on the massive deck with the most beautiful view. 10 out of 10 on this property. As a frequent VRBO user, this has been one of my most favorite stays to-date. Thank you so much Haylee and Belinda!
