"Chateau was beautifully decorated. Small elevator to bring our bags to first floor. Owner helped carry bags from entrance stairs to elevator. Robert and his wife were gracious and helpful."

"The area is really close to the city center of Sarlat, but has a country feel. The room we stayed in was delightful with stone walls and decorated with antiques. The hosts gave us great suggestions for dinner the two nights we stayed there. The breakfast was filling."

The atmosphere was very warm and family-like, especially during dinner, which is available on request and felt more like a shared meal among friends than a restaurant experience.
