"First time I had to wait for my room to be ready passed check-in time. I wasn’t able to take advantage of my member perks like early check in by reserving thru Expedia. My wife noticed that the women’s bathroom in front of the ground floor elevator needs new ceiling tiles due to water damage. Upon arrival my wife was rudely informed by the young girl at the desk before she could say anything “You will have to wait her turn like everyone else for a room to be available.” My wife explained she had not heard what was told to the gentleman in front of her as their conversation was over by the time my wife walked up. The room was clean as usual and everything else about our stay was just as expected. We have family in Columbia and we stay at this hotel several times a year and will stay again. Everyone has a bad day once in awhile."

"This is hidden gem for the USC community! Every store you could possibly need including a Trader Joe’s! I usually stay closer to campus but took a gamble and was so happy I did. The room was nicely appointed and spotless. The staff takes pride in the property and it shows. Love the walking trail behind it, but not well lit for evening walks. The breakfast was great and the attending staff was friendly and welcoming (please leave a tip, they deserve it!). I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel."
