About this property

Cozy lake house w/Lake Conroe access- pet friendly!

  • Built for gathering family and friends, we've enjoyed our aptly named "Lake House" for generations. After some new additions and renovations, we'd like to share it with you!

    Nestled on a wooded lot in front of a small fishing pond, our Lake House is a cozy space that sleeps 6 comfortably and an additional two on the sectional couch in the living room.

    The large screened in porch is a great place to gather or sit to watch the birds play in the trees. The outdoor conversation pavilion has a wood burning stove for night time visits by firelight.

    The neighborhood has a playground and boat launch directly onto Lake Conroe, and the house is just minutes from Lake Conroe lakeside dining and shopping. Large rock driveway has space for several cars, boat- and even has RV hookups and space that can be rented for an extra charge. We'd love to host your trip to Lake Conroe!

Great little getaway

Came to area for Texas ren fair, this area was close to that and other amenities, the house set back in the wooded area which felt great but was close to lots of great restaurants and the lake.

Cute House

Stayed for two nights to attend a nearby wedding, and the location was perfect! The house is on a quiet back road with a beautiful pond/lake right behind it. The decor was lovely, and the kitchen was fully stocked. Plus, it's dog-friendly, which made our stay even better! Would definitely recommend for a short getaway. Very glad we opted for this over a hotel in Conroe.

Get a Ray House

The property was very comfortable and the decor was very cute. The host was very communicative and responsive. We enjoyed the shaded yards and large porch areas. This is a great place to stay in a quiet neighborhood near the lake and several attractions.

Beautiful and cozy property

We had such a great stay at The Lake House! Our host Jennifer had an amazing welcome set up for us as soon as we entered the home, and it made us feel right at home. The house was very clean with everything we needed and more. The large screened in porch was so nice and relaxing and it was a very quiet area as well. I will definitely be booking for futures stays!

Lake Conroe

Perfect lake house! The house was cute, clean and fully stocked. Spacious driveway with plenty of room to park your vehicle and a boat. It’s close to the lake, convenience stores and restaurants. Having a neighborhood boat dock was a bonus and it was never busy. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing getaway

This place has a perfect location with a fishing pond right behind. The covered porch is what made me really love the pictures, but then the master bathroom has its own little porch too. A great place to drink your morning coffee and listen to the birds. This place had everything we needed! Highly recommend.

After Christmas getaway

We loved everything about the house and the location! The only complaint is the sofa was full of dog hair we knew and understood pet friendly but the sofa could’ve been more clean so we wouldn’t have to worry about dog hair being our clothes. Other than that the house the kitchen and location was everything!!

This is a super cute place that is quiet and out of the way, but was also close to the marina and tons of shops and restaurants, best of both worlds! Jennifer was a wonderful host and the little touches she added to our stay we're very appreciated. Watching deer play in the yard while drinking our coffee on the porch were a nice bonus!! We would DEFINITELY come back here!

A peaceful retreat

This beautiful, spacious, and cozy home nestled amongst the pine trees was a peaceful location ro celebrate our anniversary. The house was fully stocked and had a delightful ambiance. Would 100% recommend. It was just a stone's throw to Lake Conroe. Had a spacious, private screened porch. We plan to return as soon as we can!

Very Peaceful, Highly Recommend

I booked the Cozy Lake House for a employee training retreat with my dog training team. The host, Jennifer, was wonderful. She had great communication and was very responsive and accommodating. When we entered it was very clean, smelled great, and there was a welcome basket with candy, dog snacks, and a nice note frame m the host. Beds and pillows were super comfortable and cozy. And there was plenty of coffee for the morning 🙏 The screened in porch with the rocking chairs was our favorite. We had a terrific time!

Great place for a quick get away

The Cozy Lake house did not disappoint. The house was clean and well decorated. The kitchen was one of the best stocked for cooking needs that I have ever experienced in a rental. The screened in porch is definitely a bonus and our fur baby loved having the ability to watch the wildlife. The little details like a bottle of wine, plenty of coffee and hot chocolate, shampoos and body wash, pet bowls and a pet bed, and an abundance of fire wood and fire starters sets this property apart. There was an issue with the house during our stay that was completely unanticipated. The Host Jennifer responded immediately and took care of the issue as fast as possible. She did everything she could to make things right and only wanted to make sure we were happy with our stay. We could not have asked for more. Thanks for an enjoyable get away.
