The Good: hotel reception staff and cleaning staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location of the hotel is excellent as it's withing walking distance of The Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Square. The Bad: BE AWARE of the time of year that you are travelling as this hotel has rooms that have individual A/C units that you can control and Centralized A/C that the hotel controls. Rome experienced a heat wave not seen in 70+ years in May 2026 and our room, as it was for a number of other guests, was like a sauna for the three days we stayed there! We were given many reasons for the Centralized unit not working...all absolutely unacceptable!

"The stay was pleasant. I do warn other Americans the mattresses are thinner than we are used to sleeping on. Other than that it was a great stay with great AC. The staff even arranged a shuttle to get guests to the airport or the cruise port. Breakfast was delightful. I would stay here again."
