An outstanding hotel. Delightful and warm staff, excellent accommodations: beautifully appointed bathroom with big fluffy bath sheets and comfortable bathrobes, fabulous rain shower and hand-held showers, top of the line bedding, fabulous rooftop terrace for daytime lounging by plunge pool and sunset or evening relaxation. Lovely restaurant. Great location in Pocitos neighborhood—a few blocks from the wonderful rambla and surrounded by great restaurants. I would not stay anywhere else in Montevideo. The hotel truly deserves its top rating.

This is a thoroughly delightful hotel. The rooms are spacious and updated, with large windows. The bathroom is beautifully equipped with a deluge shower and lovely marble tile. Bedding and towels are plush and new. The air conditioning functioned perfectly during a hot spell. The staff are kind and helpful. My only suggestion is that the minibar, where I stored my bottled water during my stay, is not turned up very high, so the water was cool rather than cold. A very small thing in a wonderful stay. I'd stay here again in a minute!

This is one of the best hotels in Montevideo. The location is perfect, the rooms and amenities are beautiful, and the hotel staff is incredible. The food at both restaurants is really good. The only minor critique is that the restaurants seem a little under staffed. All in all, if you can splurge, go for it. It's worth it.
