Secluded 3 bedroom home with creek in the back yard

Over 155 acres for hiking we have bikes available to ride on back creek. There is a pool table and outdoor ping pong table . There is Roku t v and internet 28 mbps. The full back deck overlooking the creek is great for relaxing and grilling food. We have added a dry sauna in the master bath. Hot tub at back of home for relaxing evenings. Fire pit and sitting area in the back yard and fire wood stocked in shed. Kitchen is stocked with all the dishes and pans you may need and we will have fresh eggs in the fridge from are home during warmer months. Across the road there is a 1.3 mile walking trail through the woods. We strive to have all you need to make your stay enjoyable.The master bed is a medium feel tempur pedic and the guest queen is a sealy hybrid medium feel.

The house was spotless when I arrived. The house and property are beautiful. It is very private with a nice stream in the backyard. Anything you want or need Manette has supplied, even firewood. My dog and I truly loved it there and had a wonderful time. We are going back again in a couple of weeks we loved it so much. Manette is a kind, wonderful, and helpful host.

Great weekend getaway

Our stay was excellent and the property and surrounding area was bliss- private backyard backing up to a creek, quiet and scenic, just wonderful and just as described. The house was well equipped, clean, and had everything we needed for my family (and our two dogs) to enjoy for my birthday weekend. The area is very remote which makes it a great getaway from the busy DC area. Will definitely return again

Perfect relaxing trip

Had a GREAT time here! House was beautiful and perfect! Trail was well marked and obviously well maintained. Creek out back was so nice to the ears, nice fire pit (didn’t use because it was rainy). Host was super nice and attentive about any questions I had. Great place to stay, would highly recommend!!

Beautiful experience

This home was beautiful and literally away from it all, which is what we wanted. The host was fantastic. There was plenty for us to do. We got snow! Everything was perfect.

Back creek valley

A well maintained beautifully situated house with just the right amout of landscaping without being too busy or crowded. The mountain views, valley drive in, and proximity to GW National Forest & town were perfect for us. There was plenty for us to do at the house as well as amenities offered inand around town. Host was responsive to our requests.

Perfect sechluded getaway!

If you're looking to get away from the world and relax this is the place to do it. Lots of amenities and SUPER comfortable. House is close to the road but almost no cars. There are several cameras on the property. We will definitely be coming back with friends!

Amazing Mountain Stay

We loved it!! Clean, welcoming and pet friendly! We spent our evenings in the hot tub gazing at the beautiful mountain and stream behind the property. All modern amenities. Roku, sauna and wi-fi. Nice big kitchen. So many great places to enjoy the scenery. The sounding knob fire tower, Greenbank Observatory and downtown Monterey are close by. Thanks again

Fall Get Away

We wanted a quiet getaway in the Shenandoah valley. We found it with this lovely home. My favorite spot was sitting on the covered back deck, listening to the brook. The pool table was an added bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed. The views as we biked down the road to the sugar house was the best. Ellis and Manette are the perfect host. If we ever head back, we would absolutely rent this home again.

Family fun

We had a great time at this property. It is remote. Make sure you grocery shop before you come. The eggs are delicious. We enjoyed the ping-pong the pool table the sauna the hot tub. Our overall experience was great. Definitely would rent again. It was just nice to connect with family.

Great spot to get away. Need to know to get groceries and things as you come in. The closest store was about 20-30min away. Hot water was great, but only seems to work at one spot at a time. Hot tub and sauna were an excellent amenity.

Simply Amazing!

Stunning property! Very quiet and peaceful. Maybe 5 cars passed it all day long!! The house and porch were very clean with a fully equipped kitchen. The view from the hot tub at night over the mountain is amazing and very well maintained as well. My husband and I stayed 5 days and did not want to leave. Plenty to do with the pool table, darts and ping pong. And, the cleared path was awesome for our pupps. The firepit & creek were perfect to sit by and relax. Manette and Ellis were very responsive and even brought us fresh eggs and extra firewood! As much as I would love this place all to myself - I highly recommend visiting for just a couples retreat or family outing.

peace and quiet in the mountains

The house and grounds were amazing. So peaceful and relaxing. Mannette and Ellis are wonderful to work with. The pictures do not do it justice. The owners have done a marvelous job of fixing up the house and providing activities to make this a destination vacation. They have a pool table,sauna, hot tub, ping pong table, board games, creek, fire ring, kids playground area, a gazebo. it is absolutely wonderful. it is out in the middle of nowhere without cell service, but they have very reliable 5g internet at the house so you can still text and voip. If you want to get away from it all, but still have all the amenities' plus a lot more, this is the place for you. wonderful nature trails, Green Bank Observitory is just 45 minutes away, Our family of 5 plus dog were all very, very happy hanging out, playing in the creek, making smores, exploring some of the surrounding Townes and just generaly having a lot of time to ourselves to connect.
