This 2-bedroom, 2-bath home is located on a quiet street just a few blocks from the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row, and is also just a few minutes away by car from dining, movies and shopping in either downtown Pacific Grove or historic Old Monterey.

Other attractions nearby include the world-class golf courses and restaurants of Pebble Beach, the charming village of Carmel-by-the-Sea, the natural wonders of Point Lobos and Big Sur, and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village.

The home offers a one-car garage with a 60 amp, 240V, NEMA 14-50R plug receptacle for your electric car (EV). Guest must provide their own charging cable.

The pet-friendly home features both a living room and a separate family room decorated with an eclectic blend of vintage and modern furniture as well as coastal and butterfly-themed artwork and a desk convenient for getting some work done.

The front door, painted a bright shade of red, opens into a small entryway that can lead either into the living room or the kitchen. The kitchen area includes a built-in breakfast nook with a granite tabletop, which matches the granite countertops in the kitchen.

Vintage-look displays on top of cabinets add a sense of fun, and stainless steel appliances include a double oven, a Keurig coffee maker and a gas Jenn-Air cooktop with five burners. The updated kitchen island adds style and convenience. A Bluetooth speaker and a Google Nest Mini are also available.

The adjacent family room features comfortable sectional seating, with a sleeper that opens into a full bed. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy conversation, read a good book, or watch the 48-inch Smart HDTV, which has cable and a Blu-Ray DVD player. A game table seating 4 is available as well. A door from the family room leads to the laundry room with washer and dryer.

The living room includes a gas fireplace, sectional seating with coastal décor, a selection of books and a large dining table. Bay views can be seen both from this room and the adjacent front patio, which has a low fence, patio umbrella, fire pit table and comfortable seating surrounded by blooming flowers.

Sliding doors from the family room provide access to the back yard, which is fully fenced with easy-care succulent landscaping and native live oaks, and decorated with string lights overhead and in the oak trees. Cushioned outdoor loungers, a space heater, an outdoor dining table and a gourmet gas grill make this ideal for evening barbecues.

The main bedroom offers a king-sized bed with bench seating at its foot, a woven seagrass headboard and beach-themed décor. The en suite bath includes a large shower with teak bench. The second bedroom includes a queen bed with coastal and travel-themed style. The hall bath is freshly remodeled (2022) with new tile surround in the shower and a brand new vanity.
