Relaxing, cozy, private, just what we needed for a little time away!!!!
We booked 3 nights to celebrate a birthday and spend some alone time together. The neighborhood is so peaceful. The trails are close and make for a nice little adventure. The home is cozy and relaxing. We loved the patio and hot tub. We grilled make soups and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. A perfect location for our low key relaxing weekend.

Will Be Back!
Was a perfect place to stay for a weekend concert getaway. Very short drive to The Caverns, location was very cool, the property was well maintained, and the hot-tub was a perfect bonus for sore legs after walking all day/concerting all night!
It was also nice having secluded-ish areas to hang out other than IN the home itself. The little fire pits and pavilions were great little extras!
We will MOST DEFINITELY be back!
Our place was clean and taken care of. The Hot Tub was clean. No problems. The area and local trails inside the Retreat were really cool and maintained. We will definitely be staying here again! Thanks for having us!
We had a wonderful stay in a tiny cabin at Deer Lick Retreat. The host was very responsive and the place was clean. The only issue we had was the bathtub drain did not drain very well. We would come back again.
Super clean property. We enjoyed our stay!! Everything was exactly as shown. Super cozy. This was our first time renting a tiny home. It was actually quite spacious. Comfy beds. The hottub was a nice touch. Only suggestions would be to (1) ensure propane tanks are full for guests, as stated in the listing. Both of ours were empty so we were unable to use the firepit or grill and (2) the gas stove in the kitchen has knobs that stick way out. 3 grown adults and we accidentally turned the knob to on/gas more than once when maneuvering around the kitchen.
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the property owner. Smooth communication and check in was a breeze! I love Grundy Co.. So much beautiful scenery and fun spots to visits. The Caverns was only a 15 minute drive and we all loved the cave tour! Thanks for sharing your tiny home with us!

Amazing!
Stay was fantastic! Very clean and everything was as described upon booking. Customer service staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would absolutely book again
We loved our relaxing stay here. The property is so nice. There was a plumbing issue due to frozen pipes and they called right away to switch cabins for us. Definitely will be back!
Perfect beside the smoke alarms are very sensitive. But overall a amazing trip

Lovely place, all the amenities
The stove burner knobs are easy to turn on the gas and even ignite without intention. Just leaning up to take something out of the microwave can turn them on. It happened to me 3 times.
Also, wish you had a couple of pods of coffee available for 1 night stays.
The property was very clean and the house was beautiful. It's small but doesn't feel cramped at all. There is a trail in the neighborhood with a waterfall. I had a great time and would definitely return.
I didnt actually stay in this property. The property management walked through and found an issue before I arrived. They worked hard to find me an equivalent property. They cared enough to check on the property before I arrived and then made sure all my needs were met. Im super grateful for a wonderful weekend.
The home was clean and tidy. The instructions were clear and easily implemented. The only thing is the bed in the primary bedroom could be more comfortable. It was a foam mattress, which could be difficult for someone with a bad back to sleep on. It was very firm. Don't get me wrong, but I wish it had been an actual mattress. Everything else about the home was perfect.
Nice cabin! We only stayed one night, enjoyed the location, was a short distance from The Caverns which was our reason for visiting. We have two complaints/suggestions. Too many nats/bugs inside. Bugs in loft came out once the kids settled down, and scurried away once jostled-i say this, because just looking around upon entry wasnt enough to see them-might want to have the place sprayed on a regular basis-or fire who you are using. Second issue, too many windows without curtains or blinds, in areas that made it difficult to change-bathroom window had nothing to block someone from outside peaking in, and same in the master bedroom. Privacy is a must. Thanks for letting us stay!
New listing, well appointed, easy check in and very caring property managers. BUT- the air conditioner was broken, and it was VERY HOT in this tiny house! Although the company brought a portable cooler, it was still too warm to be comfortable. They arranged for a repair for the next day, but the vendor was unable to repair the AC, and we were unable to get replacement accommodations for that second night.
The company did arrange for a replacement for the last 2 days of our 4-night stay.
But, would we have chosen to pay full price for a 50% AC-less stay?
To be sure, the tiny-home community and siting were very pretty and restful, the location perfect to attend concerts at The Caverns. But be careful when booking to be sure the basics are working!
