You are sure to enjoy yourself in this completely remodeled home. It is located in the town of Monteagle, just a minutes drive from town. You can enjoy the large yard which has a great fire pit area, or you can just set up on the wrap around porch and enjoy the view from there. It is just a short walk down to the lake if you would like to do some fishing.

The house is easily accessible. It is conveniently located 45 minutes from Chattanooga, less that 1 ½ hours drive from Knoxville or Nashville. Our house is just a short walk to the Assembly Grounds and just a few minutes drive to the University of the South located a short drive down the road in Sewanee or St. Andrews School.

The area is known for its beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls, creeks, soaring bluffs, and rock outcroppings. The town offers several shops and places to eat. Do take into mind that this is a place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of work life. So get ready to relax and enjoy time with your friends and family, the outdoors and nature.

There is a washer and dryer so no worries about running out of clean clothes. A fully equipped kitchen. A smart tv and WIFI. If there are any sport events that you don’t want to miss, you are sure to catch them at the Sewanee Inn, Shenanigans or the Blue Chair. All of these places are just about a 10 minutes drive away.

Wonderful Hideaway!

We had a beautiful stay. The home was clean, tastefully decorated, and has a beautiful outdoor space. Our communication with Miranda was easy and we had no issues at all. We hope to return when we are back in town visiting our daughter.

Lovely House with Great Access

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was great for running into town for groceries or restaurants. The host was very friendly and responsive. We went to a show at The Caverns and were able to take a shuttle that left from one of the nearby hotels a mile away. Property was well maintained with renovated amenities and had everything we needed for the weekend!

We enjoyed our weekend here. Cozy blankets to stay warm on crisp evenings and a fire pit in case you wanna do the same outside. Equipped with all of the essentials and a little bit more. Check-in was super easy, and our host was simply amazing - very responsive to all of our questions.

Fun and comfortable place to stay

Great outdoor hang out area- we sat outside with the lights but did not use the firepit. The layout of the house was open and inviting. The bedrooms were all comfortable. We loved being so close to the goat restaurant/ market- but it was closed a majority of the time we were there. Cute area with other nearby places to eat. We were there for the weekend to see a show at the Caverns and it was perfect.

Weekend get away

We have stayed in many VRBO & ABB's in many places in the country and Europe. This place had everything you could need down to the tiniest detail, even pull ups. The decor was welcoming. It rained, so we really didn't get to use the fire pit, but we really tried.The kitchen is gorgeous. Even though there is only one bathroom, the shower was very good. There is a great place to eat very close by, Mountain Goat Market, you have to try the banana pudding cheese cake. Many hiking trails and waterfalls close by.
