"We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and was a great location. We were worried about it being too warm in the summer, without AC, but there were several standing AC fans and regular fans throughout the house and we were very comfortable. Definitely recommend for a large group. Plenty of room and activities provided within the home. Beautiful views and the hot tub is huge!"

"The property is located in a walking distance to the Monte Verde lake, which was perfect for our family. It was super nice to take a walk around the lake in the morning or in the evening! The house was well stocked with all kinds of necessities-coffee maker, toaster, etc. Kathy, the owner, was super nice and responsive. We had a great stay!"

"Our first time staying in Angel Fire. Great weather. Beautiful area of New Mexico.I would say that the Alces cabin needs a screen door on the glass door to the front deck to keep out the bugs/flies. Also, since we stayed a week, some laundry detergent option would have been nice to have provided at the cabin.The neighbors at #29 next door when we arrived on August 8th were loud and obnoxious, but thank goodness they left on Wednesday the 12th so we enjoyed some peace and quiet our last few days."

"The cabin is even better than the pictures show. Comfy beds, a/c, several games, clean hot tub, brand new kitchen sponge offered, plenty of towels…all the things you want in a vacation rental but, sadly, don’t always get. We will definitely stay again."
