The hotel is right on the main road to the town and was built recently, the room was clean and comfortable with wi-fi , gym and pool Will defenely come back again.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The beds were made in heaven, the food was delicious. The best “chivo” in the North. The staff was friendly. The only downside was the showers that had some leak. But overall, I would recommend this hotel and return. I went with my mother and some friends and they were all pleased with the location.

The property was well maintained, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The included breakfast was delicious. Only downside is there’s not much to do in the area a car is required to get around.

I stay for two nights for enjoy Montecristi area. Really good hotel to stay, good breakfast, only one ingredient missing ( fried cheese) to complete the typical Dominican breakfast, but in general really good.

Excellent customer service by all but 5 stars to Manuela and Antonio….both went out of their way to make sure our stay was exceptional! Manuela keeping us entertained and taken care during our dinner, even made us fresh coffee and provided us with amazing drinks at the bar and keeping us entertained. Antonio the main chef cooked us a masterpiece of delicious savory fried fresh fish, soup and mouth watering churrasco for dinner. Can’t wait to stay here again!

If you go to Montecristi, you must stay at this hotel. Located at the entrance of the town; a super quiet area. Some rooms have a view of "El Morro". Very comfortable and very well equipped rooms✅.

We stayed at the Wyndham Montecristi this past weekend, and it was a very pleasant experience. We arrived late in the evening, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. To our surprise, the chef himself offered to help with our bags, as he happened to be at the front desk during check-in. While this gesture was unexpected, it gave the impression the hotel might be understaffed. That said, their "all hands on deck" approach ensured no service was compromised. After settling in, my 6-year-old and I came down for a bite to eat. The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially considering my daughter’s picky eating habits. The next day, my wife wasn’t feeling well due to a stomach bug going around in the Dominican Republic. The chef went above and beyond by offering to prepare her tea and soup. He brought her a "cream of squash" soup, which soothed her stomach. His empathy and attentiveness stood out, as he repeatedly checked in to ensure we were comfortable. The only downside was the pool water—it was freezing, which was a bit disappointing since the rest of the facilities were very nice. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was decent, though we would have loved more traditional options like mangu. Overall, the exceptional service made our stay memorable. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

It was very easy to check in and find parking. Everything was very clean and the staff friendly.Sophie was a highlight. Unfortunately the food was not great, and they were severely understaffed. At one point our waiter was running the front desk, waiting, bartending, AND cooking. It took almost 2 hours to get our food. Most of the options were American, with little local options. We ordered a pizza, eggplant parmigiana, shrimp al ajillo, and pasta bolognese. Everything was overcooked and under seasoned. I know they were trying hard, so we didn’t put too much stock into it. Aside from this, I would’ve liked an iron and hair dryer in the room, and extra towels. The reservation was for four people (2 adults, 2 kids) and we had two towels to share for showering. Also- I don’t think the king bed was actually a king. Usually the four of us can fit all in one bed and this one only had room for two. The a/c was very cold and the pillows extremely fluffy. Overall definitely not the worst or best place we’ve stayed but they’re trying.
