Residence Ca' del Lago

8/10 Good

"We enjoyed our stay here! I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. The hotel is just a tiny bit outdated and had a little bit of older hotel smell. Nonetheless, it was a great stay, the rooms were clean and the view from the hotel is amazing. The shower leaked a little so the bathroom floor got wet, but that seems to be a common issue in Italian hotel rooms lol. It's proximity into the town of Torri Del Benaco is very convenient! We enjoyed walking into town for dinner. This town is a good home base for exploring Lake Garda, and is less touristy and crowded than others on the lake, such as Limone or Riva Garda. It was nice to come back to a chill town after a busy day. The breakfast is an additional cost, and was pretty good. The staff was friendly, and check in was smooth. We had to check out early the day we left due to a flight, so they let us close out our bill the night before. There was parking available for free, but the spaces are very tight! So you might want to have an additional person to spot you as you back in and out. Overall, I would recommend this place and stay here again."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bathroom was fine. The internet was very good and the restaurant food was very good but a bit loud as there was a tour group and a family with a dog that was barking (I am surprised that pets are aloud in restaurants). The welcome gift of wine was a nice touch for my status. Beautiful views and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy. The breakfast was okay, the eggs not very good. Despite the long trip up to the hotel it was well worth the effort. Would certainly return if in the area."

The location was perfect, providing easy access to explore both the northern and southern areas of the lake, making it an ideal base for sightseeing and day trips! Donuts Rentals were extremely efficient and easy to deal with throughout the booking process and stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to stay again! Highly recommend. "We had a lovely stay, apartment had everything we needed and the location is amazing across the road from Lake Garda. Great sized pool and pool area was quiet. We walked to a local restaurant, bike hire 100 yards away (if you want it!) Olimpia was great, lots of communication and assisted us if we needed anything. Highly recommend"

It had everything you need from a mini fridge, to wine glasses, air conditioning,(though no quiet mode) the view from our balcony was marvellous.The staff were helpful and wonderful friendly. The bathroom was spotless and everything worked perfectly. The only thing that I could be disappointed about was the shutters(in our room) unfortunately didn't close 100% therefore I was awake at 5.30am. the breakfast was a standard affair with everything you could want with a view."
