Apartments in Mont-roig del Camp

"There was a problem at check in - I had to send and resend the confirmation from Expedia. The room was run down and dimly lit, and the bathroom door didn't close. We were tired from a long trip, and thought we might eat at the hotel restaurant. We went to check it out and were met by a very rude waitress who told us to "Get out!". We said we knew they were not open yet (we were half an hour early) but wanted to have a look and possibly see a menu. "You can't see a menu. Get out!", she snarled. We reported this to the dining room manager and I assume he had a word with her, but it was unpleasant to be dealt with in this way. We later learned that they only have an evening buffet, so there was no a la carte menu, but this could have been politely explained to us... On the good side, the pool and lounge area looked beautiful, and it was only a short walk to the beach, where we found a friendly place to eat after having been rudely kicked out of the hotel dining room. Breakfast the next morning was a buffet, and it was quite good. We only stayed for one night. I'm not sure I'd want to go back."

"Beautiful facilities, clean and spacious but do not go here if you do NOT drive. I repeat. It’s far from everything. No buses go here or shuttles cabs are super expensive and even the bike ride out into town took us three hours and then we had to bike it back. We were so sore. Other than that, perfect. "

"We have stayed in this house three summers in a row. Definitely recommend it both for families with children (garden swimming-pool, perfect location - the beach is right behind your garden), or child-free groups (many places for food and drinks around). The house is well-equipped (washing and drying machine, dishwasher, grill, fridge, hairdryer). Beach equipment and toys for kids as a compliment :-) Will be glad to come back again!"
