Great place, needs a little TLC
Great villa with a private pool with plenty of space - no real complaints. However, the lack of maintenance including tiles falling off the walls, paint bubbling and algae in the pool were concerning. The Villa itself is great, it just needs a little TLC. We didn’t use the main pool, but the whole compound seemed secure and the restaurant food was decent,

Amazing pool near great beach
Amazing pool. Nice apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Great balcony/ patio overlooking pool. Worth the extra money for pool view. Friendly helpful staff. 5 minute walk to great beach. I would definitely go back. Great for families.

Amazing pool close walk to beach
Amazing lagoon pool. Perfect walk right in temperature. Getting a pool view room for a little extra cost was well worth it. Apartment worked great for my family of 5. Very nice helpful front desk staff. On site restaurant which we didn’t try. Five minute walk to beautiful Mont Choisy beach which was great for swimming. Several food trucks there selling local food.

August 2019: We stayed at Choisy Les Bains for 3 weeks and we were very disappointed. Originally booked a Garden View apartment, then upgraded before arrival to 2 bed Penthouse (extra £725) as was a special birthday year family holiday. We arrived at complex at 21:30 and picked up the key from the security staff at the gate. Received no welcome information or request to check-in/provide passports etc. At the apartment, there was no guest information provided - so we were in the dark with regard to check-in, reception, housekeeping - all the basic information that you would expect in even a 2 star accommodation. Our first night was unpleasant to say the least - the sheets on the bed were not laundered properly (that smelly ‘left much too long in the washing machine before drying’ stink) and the odour from the bathroom drains made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. The fridge in the kitchen was also dirty – large food spill stain on the glass shelf. The beds are particularly uncomfortable and with a back which is prone to twinges, the resulting pain the next morning and afterwards required large quantities of ibuprofen! We went to Reception to advise that we were not happy. That resulted in a wait of almost an hour - turned out the staff were all in a 'very important meeting about customer issues' (the managers words, not mine!). We advised the manager of the problems and he arranged for us to have a mattress topper which to be fair was fitted within a fe

Really nice stay in one of the ground floor apartments. Very clean, very safe, very friendly. Really liked the pool and how close it was to the beach.

This Property is the Best value for the Money. I rented the Superior Penthouse for a Average cost of $200 usd a Night. The penthouse had a Jacuzzi and was Decorated just Beautifully.

Over all really good place to stay. But must have a car. Shops and supermarket are just too far to walk. ( Grand Bay ) Sunday is a BAD day to arrive in Mauritius, everybody closes. But still at Choisy les Bains, we were well look after

The swimming pool was unique and very nice to swim. The view facing the pool was beautiful and location was excellent. I would recommend this property as it has a great pool and great service. I would give this property a 5 star rating and would like to be back.

Wonderful place to stay, best pool around, 2 min walk to the best beach around, staff very helpful, housemaid lovely and came daily. The apartments are modern, comfortable and have fantastic balcony's. We loved it.

Nice facilities but disappointing service
The apartment is brand new with modern features and has a fantastic stretching beach pool. The disappointment was there was no one you could contact and no one to clean. The one air conditioner did not work but there was no one to tell.

Tienen un pequeño resort que podría estar muy bien si estuviese organizado y bien mantenido. La limpieza muy justa, el bar y la recepción cerrados en horas en las que tienen puesto en su horario que están abiertos. Lo peor, no teníamos agua en el apartamento y se lo tomaban con la calma de decirnos que al día siguiente se pondrían a repararlo. Durante toda la semana cortaban el agua durante ciertas horas del día.

Wunderschöne anlage nur die komunikation ist sehr mühsam zb sonnenschirm kaput und er wird 3 wochen lang nicht ersetzt oder knöpfe der ventilatoren waren alle 3 kaput wurden auch 3 wochen lang nicht ersetzt kauften dan eine zange und machten es selber..bei problemen ist man wirklich auf sich gestellt!!!! Klor wird massenweise in den pool geschüttet und das pulver ist dan auch teils auf den liegestühlen und um den poolrand.aber pool selber ist bisschen dreckig da sie den nicht gut rausputzen sondern nur kloor reinwerffen. Sonst war es sehr schön und man hat alles was mann braucht. Es ist auch kein hotel und desswegen ist der service auch nicht vergleichbar aber alles in alles ist es doch weiter zu endfehlen auch der gigantische pool ist wunderschön

Classe mais trop bruyant !
Très bel endroit, très belle piscine, les appartements sont neufs et très bien équipés... Mais par contre je n'y retournerai pas car hyper bruyant... Juste en face il y avait des jeunes dans un appartement avec de la musique très forte et et ils chantaient jusqu'à très tard dans la soirée et ni le personnel de l'accueil, ni le personnel de la sécurité n'est intervenu... Vraiment ils ont abusés... Sans gène... Incroyable... Ils hurlaient !

Superbe appartement, propre bien décoré, on s'y sent tout de suite très à l'aise. Le ménage est fait tout les jours. La piscine est magnifique. Le tout à 300m de la plage et à 10mn de grand baie en voiture (pour nous en taxi ou bus). Toute la famille à adorée.

Fantastisk anläggning men långt till det mesta
Fantastiskt lägenhetshotell med en ännu mer fantastisk pool. Vi hade betalt extra för poolutsikt, och det var det värt. En trappa upp, och utsikt över större delen av poolen. Anläggningen låg relativt nära stranden (gångavstånd), vilken var jättefin. Det var inte mycket människor på stranden heller. Många träd som gav skugga om man ville ha det. Lägenheten hade effektiv A/C, takfläktar i sovrummen, dubbla badrum med dusch, bra utrustning i köket (dock saknades plåtar i ugnen!), en stor och jättefint möblerad balkong samt en egen p-plats precis utanför. Området kändes väldigt säkert och hade portvakt dygnet runt. Det fanns en telefon i lägenheten som man fick använda gratis under sin vistelse. Det fanns också en julgran! Det fanns en restaurang på anläggningen, vilket var tur, eftersom det inte fanns några restauranger (endast en enkel pizzeria) eller mataffärer i Mont Choisy. Vi fick ta bussen till och från Trou-aux-Biches för att handla. Där fanns en jättebra och välsorterad mataffär (Chez Popo). På kvällarna kunde man i Mont Choisy knappt ens gå ut och gå, då det knappt finns fungerande gatubelysning eller trottoarer någonstans. Vi stannade mest i lägenheten på kvällarna på grund av det.

Bonjour nous avons passé un séjour de 7 jours dans cette établissement , malgré quelques petits soucis rencontré, au niveau de notre clim ds l une des chambres qui ne fonctionnait pas , le personnel s est rattrapé très vite , et ont été très professionnel et a l' écoute pour y remédier. La piscine est vraiment splendide. Dommage pour le petit déjeuner qui était convenable , mais mettre en place un buffet plus complet pour une si grande propriété serait un point positif pour combler votre service. Je le recommande vraiment pour les vacances. N- F de la Réunion.

A new, clean hotel and a great pool area. Walk 10-15 minutes on to beach. Bus to Grand Baie 18-24 MUR, express bus better to Port Louis 40 MUR, cheap. Taxi to Grand Baie about 300 MUR. Breakfast is modest and reception open only during the day. Wifi connection is good. But, great place!

GREAT, but got room invaded by ants
Loved the design and interior of our 2 bedroom apartment. But the invasion of ants ruined our stay. Ants everywhere. Including running over you in bed and in the sofa. And in the bags. Let me point out - is was not due to food or crumbles laying around and the cleaning was excellent. But as soon as the cleaners left the apartment the ants came back. They had like a trail through the apartment. This totally ruind our stay. The reception are only opened 14-17. If you'r lucky. We were always out that time so I have e-mailed Choicy Les Banes about that it is not acceptable with ants even in bed when you pay this much. They have not even bothered to answer. A pity, since I would have loved to come back. But since they do not take responsibility of compensating guests given a room out of standard I would not dare to take the chance... But if YOU do, and you get a room with normal amount of insects, you will love this place. It truly is amazing.

Отличные апартаменты! На данный момент комплекс пока ещё не построен до конца, работы в отеле не решают отдыхать, шума фактически нет. Уборку желают каждый день, убираются отлично! Бассейн чистят каждый день. В таком классном апартаменте не хватает только посудомойки и, странное отсутсвие, фена. Несколько непонятно нам было отсутствие кондиционера в гостиной-кухне, поскольку кондиционер из спальни не справляется с охлаждением такой большой площади. Если вы надумаете пользоваться стиральной машинкой, то надо запастись нервами)) Вилка британского/американского типа+адаптер не совсем подходят для европейской розетки, поэтому машинку во время стирки выбивает. Окраина пляжа Мон Шуази в 5 минутах пешком, но лучше купаться на его центральной части. Магазины и кафешки доступны только на машине.
