"The people were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! The grounds and view excellent! There was not much staff on the premises and we had just arrived from a Relais & Chateau which was pretty much the same price so in comparison this destination was lacking BUT if you are going to Monsaraz and want to relax after your day of visiting I would still highly recommend since nothing in the area is comparable and the place is very beautiful and enjoyable!"

"We loved our stay at Octant hotel. It was a relaxing time away from the busyness of a city. We stayed at a villa and loved the private pool. "We stayed at the Sao Lourenco do Barrocal in November and it was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived we were met with incredible concierge service to help plan our weekend and show us our incredible suite. We did a winemaking tour and class along with an olive oil making and class as well as Pilates and all three were great! I am blanking on the instructor names but each were incredibly knowledgeable and we felt spoiled each leg. The food in the restaurant was also incredible. The dinner was great, but the breakfast was equally as impressive. 10/10 would recccomend! "
