This hotel was a dream and I did not want to leave. From the beautiful ex-palazzo interior to the modern conveniences like a fabulous bathroom, Ortigia bath products, soaring ceilings and an old-world balcony - I could not ask for anything more. Gianmarco, Lucrezia, and the team were so friendly and helpful, and really made us feel welcomed. The roof terrace was a delight and breakfast was a leisurely way to begin our days. If going up stairs is a concern, please note that there is no elevator. The palazzo is in the middle of town, doesn't feel touristy, and really makes you feel like you're living in a southern Italian dream.

A Gem in Monopoli

Excellent location in historic center, steps from port, piazza, waterfront, swimming areas, grocery, restaurants and bar/cafes (may get some alley noise at night). The staff are some of the best and personable that I've found in my travels, conversant in several languages. Breakfast was awesome with sweet and savory choices, all very fresh. Great capuccino. The building is a historical palazzo, with inner courtyard now covered with a glass roof. Upscale bathroom. Balcony over street/alley. Self-service laundromat is about a mile away, but an easy walk. (Management can handle your laundry, if preferred).

Le Palazzo est bien placé Notre chambre était tout en haut et très correcte Pour le petit déjeuner on aurait aimé avoir du pain frais et des jus de fruits de meilleure qualité Maria etai très sympathique et a fait de son mieux pour nous accueillir Il faut leur demander le parking car il ne faut pas rentrer dans la vieille ville On trouve des places à l’extérieur La ville ancienne de Monopoli est très jolie et magnifique le soir très animée Il y a de bons restaurants de poissons parfait attente un peu longue.

This hotel is incredible and I could not fault our stay. The host was great and went above and beyond during our stay. On one occasion my partner asked for peppermint tea, however they had run out. The next morning at breakfast there was a plate at the buffet with peppermint tea put out especially for us. The hotel is in a great location and the interior is stunning. I definitely recommend staying here during your stay in Monopoli!

Delightful old Italian boutique hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Bregante. The room was large, with high ceilings and had a balcony above the street. The staff were friendly and the breakfast very good. This is an ideal hotel for folk who like traditional boutique hotels. Parking is available about 5 minutes walk away in the newer part of the town.

A jewel of Monopoli

Palazzo Bregante is situated in an elegant building in the heart of Monopoli centro storico. Our room was both comfortable and spacious but what really made our stay was the wonderful service. The staff were genuine in their desire to ensure we got the best from our stay with recommendations for wonderful restaurants and interesting excursions. When we arrived with a flat tyre Christian at reception made all the necessary phone calls to the car hire company and even waited with my husband in the rain to ensure everything was satisfactorily fixed. Mille grazie Christian. Breakfast was varied and plentiful and served in a beautiful room. My only small recommendation for improvement would be to place tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Elegant stay at Palazzo Bregante...

Excellent location to explore the beautiful town of Monopoli. The Palazzo is impeccable. From the moment you enter the building you know you've chosen the right place to stay. The rooms were tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. Staff were helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was sumptuous, the best we've had in Italy. Stay here! We wish we had stayed longer...we look forward to returning!

Excellent boutique hotel - perfect location

The hotel staff was very helpful, rooms spotless clean and breakfast wonderful. The location in the historic district makes it easy to get around. The staff offered to make reservations for dinner at local restaurants and beaches (highly recommended)
