"This home is a gem I would say, unfortunately my experience was not, with the host in particular. The place was quite dirty with unclean floors, bathroom, sheets and unclean dishes. My cat found a random summer sausage on the floor and got sick. My showers were mostly cold. I found multiple roaches daily, and when I found 6 in one night I finally decided to leave. Unfortunately I did not have proof of my complaints, therefore the host turned it around and told me my issues were false. I blew a fuse in the bathroom, which she had to hire an electrician, but told me I should have asked to plug in my device. Host was refusing refund until I complained, therefore she gave me a very small percentage back. I am honestly shocked at how unprofessional and rude this host was with everything that had happened. She was very pleasant to begin with until I decided to leave. If I can give any advice, do not contact host through phone, have proof if there are any issues, and ask to use outlets."

"Breakfast was excellent. I couldn't get a warm shower; the water was only slightly warm. Some of the furniture was a little dusty in the corners. The halls were quiet.The location was convenient."

"This home is beautiful, clean, well stocked for large groups and has an awesome view of the lake! Hosts were quick to respond to any questions and had simple instructions posted around home which was very helpful! It is just minutes away from Indiana Beach too! Highly recommend them for large groups of 10-15 guests :) "

"It was a very relaxing and quiet stay overlooking the lake. Really enjoyed seeing all the geese and other birds early in the mornings when they began talking off. I’m sure the experience during the summer would be much different than our stay over Thanksgiving week, but then all the possible water activities and the near by amusement park become available. "

"Arrived and the bed our kids were supposed to sleep on was broken and it was unusable. Refrigerator was rusted. Blinds broken in main bedroom. Flooring completely falling apart. Spider webs everywhere. Listing showed it on the lake, it was across a very busy street from the property. This listing was absolutely deceiving. Pictures from when it first opened or remodeled i would assume. Don't waste your money. There is nobody on site either to help. The manager redone quickly which is great but he's the gatekeeper to the owner who does nothing. They would not reimburse us one night stay for the lack of bed. Very frustrating. "
