"The property needs some updating and sprucing up. Some basic painting and caulking in the bathrooms. The fitness facility is awesome and huge! Breakfast was more than adequate and the area very clean. Rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable."

"It is relaxing and easy to like property. Very clean and plenty of everything. The river / lake patio was a great spot anytime. We used the fire pit too, fun spot for s ’mores. Plan to be back again! Boiler up!"
Charming Riverfront Retreat in Monticello!

"Great spot. The river was wider than I remember in the pics. The house is built with the river in mind. We brought our own paddle board and kayak and used them a lot. Great deck up top was the prime spot all weekend for the parents while the kids fished. Locals were very nice and helpful. Folks at the bait shop about 400 yards down the road were the nicest people ever. Place was super clean. Grill exceeded expectations. We used the WiFi and TV. We used the entire place with the kids and adults from our two families. Fires out back by the river were the highlight. Easy check in and check out. Thanks!"

"The ladies that clean this place do an amazing job and are so friendly. I also love that we were able to use the kayaks and paddle boat free of charge! We had a great time and it’s such an amazing place to stay! Having our own little private deck off of our lakeside room was amazing too! We will definitely be booking every year for our anniversary trip!"
