"In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. "This was a great hotel to land for a couple nights in Plettenberg. The staff was delightful especially upon our arrival we were a bit frazzled from a long drive and Kima greeted us to help us Park and get our bags to our room. The in Hotel restaurant is excellent, we ate the oxtail and the breakfast is fabulous. Two doors away is a place called 11 that we rented bikes from. The property is clean and we had a City View Suite that had plenty of room to spread out and a balcony. The property is clean and has excellent security! We would absolutely stay here again."

"The location of this resort was excellent. The large room had a beautiful view of the beach which was easily accessible. The beach is fabulous for walking on. There are no groceries or restaurant on site. However, within 15 minutes of driving, you have everything you need. This place really is perfect for a very self-sufficient. Stay on a beautiful beach. It is very relaxing and quiet."
