a fine little place in a city out of the way
all just fine. only reservation is that there is a steep 350 meter climb to the hotel. all in town, small as it is, is close.

Romeo's house est un hôtel sans prétention mais les chambres sont tout à fait correctes et propres. L'accueil est sans chichi. Attention pour le rejoindre à pied il ne faut pas avoir peur de grimper !

Good spot to visit Monemvasia.
There was a little confusion about our booking, but the hotel owner soon sorted this out and we were in our room.
Good location for visiting Monemvasia, with a great view toward the rock the old town stands on.
Plenty of cafes in the local area for meals.

Room with seaview at extremely good value
The second half of September turned out to be just the right time for a few days in Monemvasia: Almost empty, clean beaches, a pleasantly calm byzantine oldtown, and extremely good value accommodation at Romeo's (five minutes from the beach, in Gefira, with breathtaking view of the rock island and the bays on either side). The room was cleaned and towels exchanged on a daily basis and the owners always ready to help.

Welcoming and friendly hosts.
Lovely place to stay - very welcoming and helpful hosts. Room a good size (we opted for a triple as we fancied some extra space)and a perfect little balcony. Just a short stroll down to the village. Convenient parking opposite and well signposted from the village. No problem when we needed to adjust our booking (stayed longer!) Very reasonable price.

Excellent value for money!
Nice hotel with a good view of the castle. Location is in the town and the walk to the castle takes around 25 minutes (or you can take the shuttle bus - 10 minute stroll to bus stop from the hotel). Owner is very nice and gave us some oranges from the garden. Parking provided (1 minute from hotel). Good WiFi. This review is for the two double rooms (used as two single rooms). Excellent value for money!
