very nice!!
very nice hotel. spacious room. easy walk to Mondovi train station. Only complaint would be flat hard pillows, coming from Rome may be only kind they have or like in Italy. Would definitely stay again.

Almost perfect, a bit more human touch and Chris
Nice hotel well situated. Noise can still be heard between the rooms…. And it would be nice to have fresh flours in the hall for Xmas tree and pleas play Italia music and not English elevator Xmas music )

Hotel staff is so friendly and helpful, can’t say enough good things about them. Pillows are horrid,rock hard, room very warm and stuffy.

Good location but outdated furniture
The hotel is well located in Mondovi, within a 5 minutes walk to center old town and 10 minutes to the funicular which takes you in 5 minutes, and 2.5 Euros tickets up the hills to this amazing piazza and old buildings. You can sit in one of the coffees or restaurants and enjoy the special atmosphere of this part of town. The room was outdated, the furniture is old fashioned and a refresh of the room would be nice. The bedding was firm and the bathroom was big enough. The team at the reception is really welcoming and the breakfast (you choose from a variety of options on a menu and it is served to your table) is ok, my regret is the coffee machine, which serves a poor quality taste coffee.

Friendly but no tv and small showers.
The tv was broken in the room and apparently most of the hotels TVs are broken and awaiting replacement for several months by the hotel owners. I was offered a different room but eventually chose to do without. The room was clean and tidy and the staff friendly and helpful for various things. The showers were very small. It’s got all new staff but generally the place is tired. And seemingly the owners are slow to put any investment into repair let alone improvement.

Acceptable but not great.
This is close to the train station and a short walk into town but is not in a great area. I did not feel comfortable walking around the area at night. The rooms are basic but clean. The windows and doors are thin so you can hear people in the other rooms, hallway, and outside the hotel. The breakfast is pretty bad so if you have an option of not having it included save your money. I expected a typical Italian breakfast with croissants, cheese, and cold meats. They serve stale, dry cakes and self-serve coffee from a machine.

Convenient location for my purposes. Quiet and comfortable enough. Staff was impersonal. Best thing about it was that it was just off the autostrada, had parking and was an easy walk to Lower Mondovi.

Awesome service!!
The service was amazing. Angela at the front desk was so accommodating and answered any and all of our questions in fantastic English. She made us feel so comfortable and welcome. She showed us that the hotel is just across the canal from the beautiful old part of town. Easy walks all through the little shops and grand cathedrals.

Bargain stay
Interesting city. Stopped off between the coast and Turin. Well worth a night. This restaurant is a real bargain. The staff are lovely and really can't complain about the room. Had an excellent meal in local restaurant (La Crota). Breakfast was absolutely fine.

We had a little trouble with the safe when we first arrived, but was quickly rectified. The bath shower had a leak from the glass shower shield. Also it needed a good refurbishment. Overall it was quite good.

Very good value for money
A two night stopover which we chose because of location, free breakfast and parking. It was a good choice and the service was excellent. We didn't find Mondovi itself particularly appealing but there was a nice hilltop town but a bit dead. We would choose it again because of location and access to other areas.

The room was quiet and comfortable with a pleasant view of the town below and of Mondovi Piaza up on the hill. Highlight was the food. This was simple but well prepared, came quickly, good quality and great value.

Very clean, modern hotel. Reasonable wifi, particularly as compared to others in Italy. Staff was quite helpful with local suggestions and assisted with travel plans as well. Hotel food was enjoyable and reasonably priced.

A pochi minuti a piedi dal centro di Mondovì bassa. Location un po' datata ma curata e pulita. A nostro avviso ambienti un po' troppo caldi e cuscini troppo bassi. Personale molto cortese. Colazione nella norma

Non è 4 stelle. In camera accolti da un odore forte di deodorante per ambiente nauseante, per coprire altri odori??? Tavolozza wc rotta; doccia mini; climatizzazione rumorosa !!!!

Ne approfittiamo per condividere anche con i lettori, un prezioso suggerimento, spesso risolutivo quanto banale , per ovviare a questo genere di disagi ovvero quello di comunicare tempestivamente con il ricevimento. L'asse wc non era rotta ma poco stretta all'altezza di uno degli attacchi. Con una comunicazione al front desk saremmo intervenuti immediatamente. Ci spiace non aver ricevuto subito una segnalazione. Stesso discorso per il rumore dell’impianto dell’aria condizionata.Il profumo per ambienti ( e non deodorante) fa parte dello standard e non deve coprire nessun cattivo odore; probabilmente non è stato dosato in maniera corretta oppure semplicemente il suo arrivo è avvenuto poco dopo il termine dei lavori delle donne ai piani.Ci spiace davveroCordiali saluti
