"This is a very nice hotel, with wonderful staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast is ample and varied -- eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, cereal, toast, juices, coffees, etc. The hotel is in the exact center of town. There is extremely limited parking near the hotel, but lots of it about ten minutes' walk away. "

"The property is advertised as a good place to stay when skiing, but it is too far away and not accessible by the transport buses or taxis. Walking is hard (30 minutes), especially after a day skiing. Do not stay here if you want to make the most of the slopes. You could take a car, but would meed to park in Sauze centre, which is expensive.The induction oven causes power cuts. You cannot use it otherwise no power to the apartment. You can only use one ring on the hob, otherwise it will also cause a powercut. You cannot run any other appliance if the oven is on. The plates ajd cuttlery were wet and dirty. They had not been cleaned properly before we arrived. The sink was also blocked, and wouldn't drain properly. Hot water runs out after 1 normal length shower, which was not good for the two of us staying. This stay was very disappointing. It was expensive to not even have a working oven. We were plagued with powercuts and were uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the place. "

"We stayed at Hotel Alvanche in Sauze D’Oulx for our honeymoon, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious, with a lovely balcony offering stunning views. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, with a great variety of food to suit all tastes. It set us up perfectly for a day of skiing. The hotel’s heated boot room was an excellent feature, ensuring our skis and boots were dry and ready to go every morning. The location is unbeatable, with close proximity to the Clotes chairlift, making it incredibly convenient for getting onto the slopes quickly. We had an unforgettable week skiing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alvanche. It was the perfect base for our honeymoon, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Sauze D’Oulx."
