"We had an unforgettable stay at Tivoli Resort, thanks to the incredible customer service. I especially want to thank Mariana and Luminita at the guest service desk. During our stay, I had a sudden health issue that required an emergency visit. Since we don’t speak Portuguese, Luminita immediately called multiple hospitals on my behalf, spending over an hour until she found a private hospital in Faro that could see me. She even lent me her personal phone so I could reach my insurance company in Canada. The next day, when I needed a follow-up appointment, Mariana kindly helped me again by contacting the insurance company to make sure everything was approved. Later, when we checked out, we realized there was a mistake on our flight ticket. Mariana patiently contacted the airline and airport until the issue was solved. The service here was beyond exceptional—every staff member we met was professional, patient, and truly guest-oriented. The resort itself is stunning, with the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with high-quality food and even champagne to enjoy. We had such a wonderful experience and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!"

"Close access to the beach and the spectacular cliff walks. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts might have benefited from a little more variety but food was good. Access to Lagos was quite easy whether walking or taking car. "

"Great location right next to one of the best beaches in Lagos, foot steps away from the resort and very walkable into old town. Staff were amazing and provided great suggestions. Highly recommend and would stay again. "

"Very clean, housekeeping is good. Some of the in room fixtures could be updated or replaced (leaky dishwasher, old caulking). Our first room had a bunch of wall damage from a leak so we had to request a room change and they were quick to facilitate it. Good service."

"We are just back from a stay at this property. Absolutely fabulous. We stay in a one bed suite and it had every kitchen utensil you could imagine as well as a full size fridge and Jo and a combo mircowave , grill and oven. Everything spotless . Situated right on the marina so a few minutes walk to bars and restaurants. There is also a grocery nearby . Pool was busy but no issue with loungers. Very quiet area. Would definetly recommend "

"Rooms are spacious and clean, service throughout our stay was excellent. Great breakfast - lots of choice and all very fresh. We always enjoy our stay here, this time we had a bit more time to enjoy the pool and pool bar - really lovely facility and very relaxing. "

"Had a fantastic stay at Vidamar Resort Algarve, a really easy and quick check in. Got our room keys, and hired two towels (fee was repaid upon check-out) and the room was spacious, well lit and all appliances worked too! The shower was spacious, and the mirror was well lit. Very comfy bed, and a spare pillow was in the room if needed also. Balcony gave great views onto the golf course next door, with little to no road noise, and even through the massive windows, the sun was well blocked out by the blackout curtains. Breakfast was a very good selection, from full English to meats and cheeses and eggs cooked to your own preference. Didn't try out the buffet evening meal, so can't comment on that. Swimming pool was well attended at all times by life guards, and there were plenty of sun loungers, bean bags and parasols for everyone to have their own space. Staff were always pleasant, and our room was clean. Would come back again, for sure! "
