"This was a beautiful property. The gardens were some of the best we have seen and the home was like staying in a museum but warm and cozy. My wife kept giggling like Elizabeth when she went to Mr Darcy’s home in Pride and Prejudice. It really was splendid around every corner of the house. I had a reservation for 2 nights, rec'd numerous emails from hotels.com about it (including the one linking to this survey) only to get there and be told the B&B closed in Nov 2022 and there was no lodging to be had. They literally laughed when we walked in. I contacted hotels.com online, only to be told they couldn't help. "This is a clean and well run property. The room was adequately sized, and the be was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The Circle K convenience store and Subway inside it are good options within easy walking distance for sundries and as an alternative to the restaurant.
