"Hotel is kept very clean. Staff was very friendly. Laundry was not used. The breakfast was a little below average only because the food wasn’t restocked. There was no sausage in very little egg left. I sat there for 25 minutes and nothing was replaced. Other than that, the hotel was very nice."

"Very clean and nicely furnished for such an old property. Our room could have used a good scrubbing on the bathroom floors b/c the grout and tiles were dirty. The shower could use re-caulking around the glass shower door where it meets the bathtub to get rid of a bit of mold, and the tiles in the shower could need to be sprayed with Tilex and scrubbed. Those are all minor things, but could improve the room a lot. Overall, very satisfied. "

"Looks like new renovation post Vermont-wide flood: nice wood floors and ceiling. Wood/gas stove a very nice feature. New appliances & cupboards: very nice. Our 2 little girls called it a castle because of the circular stair. They also discovered they could remove the plugs at each end of the railing and make a “telephone.” Good house for adventures. Although we tried we did not brave the cold water pools. Another time perhaps. So nice to tell the girls to go outside and play, though. We would like to come again in full summer."
