"The owners spoke English and helped us with anything we needed. They also helped us to a free meal one of the nights. This camp is right at the entrance of Humanatay lake and is right along the Salkantay path. Also to be noted there was HOT water and excellent shower pressure. Probably our best stay ..."

"When we booked the hotel the distance from perurail station was shown as 280m. What was not mentioned was it is uphill slope with grades from 30 to 40 degrees. We asked the perurail conductor for directions and he came out with us at the meeting point and shouted Taypikala many times for no response. ..."
