"The photos were deceptive making it appear that the huts were not near any other dwelling - they were only metres from the host’s home. This proximity made it impossible for privacy for guests and host. Communication from the host about their early morning (6.30am) visit from children for an easter egg hunt and family breakfast would have been appreciated. The beds were good and we let the host know we would be bringing our own sheets and pillows so they could save on washing. It lacked storage and hanging space with nowhere to put clothing or hang wet coats and towels. On a windy night the foliage near the huts banged on the walls and roofs. We later found the roof on the small hut detaching causing a draft during the night. No fly screens on the windows making it impossible to leave them open for fresh air without flies, moths and mosquitoes entering. No facilities to cook or re-heat food other than to make toast. 2 of the outside lights were not working and no pathways between the huts and bathroom or toilet. Going outside to the toilet during the night was unpleasant in the dark, cold and rain. The door to the bathroom was very narrow and we had to turn sideways to enter. The water went everywhere in the bathroom when you showered. On several days we returned from outings to discover someone had used the toilet while we gone. On our last day they hadn’t bothered to flush it. We were expecting a peaceful rural aspect. 180/night 10/night for pets was not value for money"
"Parking was just outside the room and could fit 1 small car and 1 sedan but that was due to having the end room. Room was clean, just a lot of small flying insects in the bathroom (windows werent open but maybe due to opening front door when getting in and out. Could be better table tennis bats and balls as well as cue sticks/table in the games room. Pool was freezing despite low to mid 20s day. Rooms were cold at night too but good heating. Stove and oven ignitor didnt work, had to use a lighter"
"The check-in experience was somewhat brief and not particularly welcoming. However, we really enjoy staying in these cabins—they are consistently quiet, clean, and the bed is very comfortable. We visit Nagambie often and appreciate the peaceful environment.
A couple of maintenance and amenity points to note: the shower door appears misaligned and requires significant force to close properly. The kitchen provisions were quite minimal, with only two sets of cutlery and plates provided, and the pot was missing a lid.
Overall, the location is excellent, especially being so close to the boat ramp, which makes it very convenient for our visits."
"Room was small, but spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed with quality bed linen. Close to the main bar, but perfectly quiet for sleep by 10pm. Easy and friendly check-in. Old-fashioned bathroom down the hall, likewise spotless"
