"Wonderful place along the river. So many thing to do and enjoy. The back yard was just beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hot tub, fishing, BBQing and all sort of games. Many fantastic hikes nearby too. Lots of great places to eat in New Paltz."

"The cleanliness was truly at a hotel level, and everything was so well organized and neatly arranged that it made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived.Simply looking out at the beautiful mountains with such an open and breathtaking view was healing in itself. The spacious kitchen also made our time together even more enjoyable, giving us a wonderful space to share meals and create memories with our family.Communication with the host was easy and pleasant, and whenever we had a question or needed help, it was easy to get things resolved.This was truly a wonderful place for our family to spend quality time together. Thank you for providing such a beautiful and comfortable place to rest and enjoy."

"This is our 3rd stay at this lovely little cottage. It has the best views of the mountains and Mohonk tower. We saw several deer grazing while we sat by the fire, even heard coyotes howling at sunset. Host is very good with communication and early check in when possible."

"Everything is as advertised. The biggest plus is that there’s no TV, followed by the fire pit outside. It’s also very close to Minnewaska state park and Mohonk preserve. Overall a very good experience."

"Our stay was lovely! The property is perfectly situated for a relaxing vacation but also close enough to shops, farms, and parks in nearby New Paltz. Sheila was also very responsive and helpful; she provided useful sightseeing and restaurant recommendations and, when we contacted her with a refrigerator issue, she responded immediately and even stopped by the following day to make sure everything was working as it should. Our pup was relaxed in a way we hadn’t seen in quite a while! Will definitely be back to this special spot!"

"This rustic home sits on a property that is visited daily by a herd of beautiful deer. This charmed us immediately. The inside of the home is decorated to be inviting and has a midcentury meets farmhouse chic vibe with eclectic and cozy touches. Every amenity you need is here. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and the kitchen is large. There is good WiFi if that’s a concern. Only one minor issue with sugar ants near the sink which is not unexpected when there was heavy rains. We know this can happen in a very wooded area and in an older home. The town itself is charming and the host was very communicative throughout the stay. We would book this again anytime! Five stars!"
