I booked it so my sister—visiting from abroad—could experience New York’s fall, and the location was perfect for apple picking, Minnewaska trails, and Mohonk Mountain House.The home felt like a peaceful retreat in the middle of the forest, yet had all the modern comforts. Everything—from the kitchen and entertainment units to the yoga mats, fire pit, and beautiful surroundings—was thoughtfully prepared. We left feeling rested and energized. "Problems w. outdoor furniture, boats, & hazards (poison ivy) that we weren’t made aware of.Rowboat leaks and is not safe for children. Outdoor dining table & chairs not useable because in need of power washing & chair backs unstable.Poison Ivy along paths where people walk (yes, one adult got it; very unpleasant) No credit given us for these issues…but we did get denial.First day we weren’t given code for oar box so couldn’t go on lake. Management gave us 65 credit for that…"
