We stayed here for only one night on Monday, 13 October 2025, on our way to Cape Town. It’s such a pity we couldn’t stay longer because this is a truly wonderful guesthouse. We had a lovely room with a beautiful river view. Mina at reception was incredibly friendly and helpful. She took such good care of us and accommodated our request to change to a river-view room without any trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the guesthouse has a gorgeous garden. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options to choose from. Check-in and check-out were both very efficient. We highly recommend this guesthouse to everyone and will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you so much! Ian and James

The blind that covers the door is thin and the light shines through leaving the room very light at night. The water in the shower is needs to be warmer.

Stunning

A beautiful gem on our road trip! Our room was decorated with stunning French furniture and we had a lovely big verandah to sit on and enjoyed watching the flurry of birds in the nearby trees. We were disappointed that the Stables restaurant was closed, but got take aways which were delivered in a few minutes.

Great hotel in a quiet location off the main road. The rooms are beautifully decorated and are immaculately clean. The outdoor patio area has lovely views of a lake. Highly recommended!
