Apartment was spotless as was the complex. The staff were amazing. Location is good although you can hear the music from the night life complex. I would return, the sunset views are phenomenal

Property itself was great. Nice big room and clean overall. It was the guests who arrived during the week that were the problem. Constant shouting from room to room meant no one could relax. Came home one night to find a broken bottle of vodka on the floor. Looked like it had been there for a few hours Just not good enough really

Decent apartment. Wrong location

The apartments are quite modern but you’d expect at least aircon when the temp is over 30c. It’s quite high up so isn’t an ideal walk in hot weather. At least 300 steps. Just above the tacky shopping centre where the bars blast music out until 6am. With it being self catering everything ‘extra’ comes at a price. A rubbish fan - €20 a week Wifi - €6 a day Tv - €25 a week Safe key - €10 We also only got our towels changed a couple of times. Disappointing stay

Hotel overbooked our room, told us when we arrived

Unfortunately I can't rate Altair Apartamentos accurately, because we didn't have the opportunity to stay there. The hotel OVERBOOKED our room, and only informed us about this when we arrived to the reception desk. Not a single email or phone call before! They told us, we will get a room in their other hotel called Cala d'Or, right next to this one, and that's it. This is NOT how it works! You can't just tell your guests that "Hey, we don't have the room you booked and paid for, but we found an other one in an other hotel for you" when they arrive. We booked a room in THIS hotel for a reason, not in your other one. We didn't even get ANY compensation, like a free breakfast or anything. I think at this point it is fair to give a 1/5 rating to a hotel, but the staff in the other hotel was so nice and friendly we decided to give an overall of 3/5 to Altair, but only because of the positive experience in Cala d'Or. The only thing we didn't like in Cala d'Or was the wifi. The signal was so weak, we were only be able to connect at the front of our door, and even with a good signal their network was so slow, we had to use our mobile data for everything. But after all, we were able to spend 10 beautiful days in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria.
