"The views are spectacular! Loved having the open space and area to walk around outside. It was very peaceful. The house is very simple, but perfect for the two of us."

"We stayed 3 nights over Thanksgiving weekend. The cabin is warm and welcoming, and the property is beautiful with great rocks and views. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make your own meals. Our dog loved running around and sniffing out animal tracks. We visited Bishop’s Castle and The Great Sand Dunes and the weather was sunny and in the 50’s so it was nice for driving to longer adventures. Highly recommend any time of year, but if it snows you will need 4WD for sure! "

"The place was amazing. Everything we needed for cooking dinner and lounging around. The hot tub was the deal breaker for the area. We sat in the hot tub and got to see a solar flare and many shooting stars in the super quiet and dark sky! This was a perfect place to see the Great Sand Dune National Park."
