"The cabin was in great shape. The seating was just right; especially the reading area. The king bed provided a restful sleep. We spent time on the deck watching the hummingbirds and the occasional parade of wild turkeys through the meadow. We also took advantage of the nearby rainbow trail for hiking. Our stay was exactly what we had hoped it would be. Looking forward to a return visit."

"Surrounding Great Sand Dunes was very convenient. The hummingbird feeders near our room, was one of the highlights as there were many birds so close to us, as we looked over the sand dune backdrop. Hostess at front desk filled the feeders up as soon as we told her they are running out of feeder food. The restaurant just down the hill was excellent, with great staff and great food. We had a great time staying at the Great Sand Dune Lodge."

"The home was very clean and check in was a very easy process. The kitchen and bathroom were well supplied with the essentials. We very much enjoyed our stay and we were comfortable. "

"Great concept for lodging, movie and meals. We stayed in the steamer suite which has a private bathroom. Simplistic, comfortable, quiet, nicely appointed room with walk out patio. We had brought our blackstone and cooked dinner on the rock gravel just off the patio. The accommodations were perfect. There is a concession area that you can rent cooking boxes to make your meals. We toured the facility while we were there. The commercial kitchen is outstanding. Everything you would need to prepare a lovely meal for yourself. Plenty of table and bar seating inside the concession area. There wasn’t a movie playing the night we stayed, but we will definitely return when one is playing."

"My husband and I had a great time. The house is secluded but close enough to Salida to get the essentials when needed. Zoe was very quick with responses to any questions we had. The home was clean and very cute. We would stay again!"
