The Heart of the Valley: Smart Modern Farmhouse

The Heart of the Valley takes it's name after what the city of Turlock represents to the Central Valley, it's heart. I wanted to use this as inspiration to create a home the embodied this. I worked closely with local interior designer, Marísela Rodríguez, to come up with a home design where guest can enjoy the convenience of modern technology while still having that warm, welcoming feeling a farmhouse has to offer.

The space:
The Heart of the Valley is a single story home updated and modernized for the convenience and comfort of today. This includes things you can't even see, like a tankless water heater system and others you can't miss, like the state of the art smart appliances. You can enjoy a movie night (popcorn complimentary) on the large sectional with all of your friends and family or a head to the beautiful backyard for a sizzling BBQ on the Webber grill (charcoal included). This house has so many updates and awesome features to list. You are just going to have to see them for yourself. Looking forward to hosting you! :)

Guest access:
Guest have access to the entire home except for the kitchen pantry and laundry closet used for storage. My goal is for you to feel like this is your home away from home.

Beautiful House

It was so nice to have this home away from home while celebrating Gigi’s 100th birthday with 4 generations. The host was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. We all slept well and felt very comfortable.

Wow, this place did not disappoint. It was very clean and had to have been recently remodeled everything was so well kept and extremely comfortable. The hoist was very prompt and accommodating. Great area close to everything we needed. We were there for work and it was so much nice than any hotel we could have stayed at. You won’t be disappointed

Lovely Home Away From Home

This house was just lovely. We were so pleased to see a beautifully decorated tree and other decorations for Christmas. Part of our family lives in Merced and our granddaughter and son spent one night with us. It was ideal for us and our small fur-baby. Plenty of amenities for a home away from home feel. Jerry was quick to respond and very pleasant with regard to a question about the TV. Would love to stay here again when in the area. Thank you for your hospitality.

Wonderful House to Stay

We were in town for our son’s wedding at a nearby venue. This house was exactly as shown in the pictures and we had a wonderful time. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed for cooking & baking and feeding a large family. The manager was very easy to communicate with as we had several questions before arriving. The house was very cool as the weather was in the upper 90’s we really appreciated the AC and all of the ceiling fans. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

A Beautiful Home away from Home.

This property was absolutely wonderful. The home was spotless, kitchen was upgraded to the tee with all the amenities to go along, bathrooms stocked w/toiletries, body and hand towels in each room for each bed, modern bedroom sets for each room. Mattresses so comfy, living room couch just as comfy w/throw blankets. The home was open and spacious for my family and I traveling from SoCal. The home was so welcoming made us feel like it was our home away from home. During our stay the area was going through an excessive heat weave and the host had the home already cooled upon our arrival. 🙏 Jerry our host was prompt, accessible and definitely patient when we reached out to him with the smallest questions or concerns we had even after 9:00pm. The home is right next to freeways, stores, gas stations and eateries. We adored this home so much we wanted to stay longer. lol If you’re lookin for a great home stay and host who communicates. Jerry and his property is the way to go. We will definitely rsvp this property again when we visit our family in the Modesto area. Thank you again Jerry for everything and your beautiful home.
