"What made this place so terrific was not the facilities, but Roberto and Claudia, the owners. They went out if their way to show us the wine production and surrounding area. They went above and beyond to help us with their pharmacy and anything else we needed. They made it our home. Scandiano is a delightful community. "I stayed 4 nights in a clean, comfortable and quiet room. The temperature outside was in the mid-30s C every day but the room had aircon and I slept very well. The hotel is a grand old place with atmosphere, originally an 18th c palazzo. The staff were very friendly and helpful."
