Loved everything about this hotel. Nice fresh clean room. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Simple but nice breakfast and offer to take a sandwich etc with us on our travels. I loved Mo I Rana. It's a great location, a small town with a waterfront that has some character.

Unprofessional staff
There are 2 places this hotel owns. There is the one that is shown in the photo and the other locate in thr central, where you have to share the bathroom and kitchen with other guests. If the rate is cheaper, it is most likely in this share apartment. When I arrived at the hotel in the late night, the hotel staff told me that there is a problem. He said that my name is unusual and thay thought that I was a boy. So they put me the share apartment where only boys stay. He tried to help me to find the other hotel, but there are no hotels available. At least this staff is very kind and helpful. But I didn’t have any choices to stay there. The room was clean and secured. However it was located in the central. Since it was summer time, it was very noisy until 2-3 o’clock. Hardly could sleep. What I disappointed the most was that though I asked to leave my baggage after checking out since my flight was very late, they said that their boss allowed to do it. I felt that this hotel is no service at all, how can they think that I could move around with heavy baggage for 6 hours. So I had to change the earlier flight. Luckily I could book it, but the day I left was Sunday, I requested a hotel staff to make a reservation for the taxi. But he said that I should go to the train station and the taxies always were waiting there. In the end, there were no taxi in the station. So I had to ask a help to the stranger. I really don’t recommend to stay there.

Cover the basics well.
As expected for the price range. No AC will make for warm nights if weather is good but no real problem. Friendly and forthcoming staff. Basic breakfast. Quiet area of the city but short distance to city center and restaurants with discount at their own.

Flott opphold på Mo gjestegård
Ble møtt av en konvolutt med navnet mitt på i resepsjonen da jeg ankom. Fant rommet rent og ryddig( gulvlistene var ikke helt rene) Hyggelig betjening, helt grei enkel frokost. Et flott opphold på Mo gjestegård.

Wir waren im Juli 2023 für eine Nacht im Gästehaus. Es liegt zentral in einer ruhigen Wohngegend in Mo i Rana. Das Stadtzentrum ist in 5 min. zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Stadt bietet viele interessante Gebäude und Parks. Das Zimmer im Gästehaus war ausreichend groß und gemütlich. Parkplätze gibt es vorm Haus.

Fikk et rom i kjelleren, mye maur, samt mye støy fra rommet ovenfor. Vinduet sto åpent da vi ankom, og var preget av sterk tobakklukt. Det sto mat igjen i kjøleskapet fra tidligere gjester. Parkeringen var full. Helt okei frokost, men ingen barnestol, som kunne gjort frokostopplevelsen bedre.

Hei, beklager ulempen. Men etter vår mening bør du melde fra til resepsjonen, som sjekker og gir deg rabatt dersom dette var tilfelle. Nå kan vi ikke bekrefte ektheten til ordene dine, spesielt hvis de er skrevet anonymt. Angående maur er det første gang vi har hørt om noe slikt. Våre ansatte sjekker alt daglig. Når det gjelder parkeringsplassen var den selvfølgelig full, for folk kommer med bil hver dag.

Bra hotell. Bodde 4 netter, det ble ikke skiftet hand duk en eneste gang. Det ble ikke ryddet på rommet. Personalet snakket dålig norsk.

Andre gang vi bor på Mo gjestegård og vi var like fornøyde denne gang. Det var rent og fint og servicen var kjempegod. De tilbydde oss til og med å kjøre oss til togstasjonen da vi var litt sent ute. Ligger veldig sentralt og bare noen få minutters gange til sentrum og togstasjon. Anbefales.

Rigtigt hyggeligt og hjemligt. God plads både på værelset og fællesområder. Hvis man ankommer med tog eller bus, så er der en vis stigning op til hotellet.
