Solitude at Rock Creek, Quigley MT

Looking for a peaceful, quiet rural haven? Stay at the cabin on Brewster Creek, just a few minutes from Rock Creek, approximately 40 minutes from Missoula. Listen to the creek running alongside the cabin, sit on the patio and look out over the meadow keeping an eye out for the Big Horn sheep herd wandering by. Walk for miles in the surrounding hills or fly fish in Rock Creek , a blue ribbon trout stream. Children and families are welcome.
The cabin has a spacious master bedroom with a king size bed and includes a sofa-sleeper, a small open loft above it and a large bathroom. The second bedroom, with a queen bed, has its own bathroom. The sleeping loft is above the living room and is suitable for children or extra guests. The comfortable living room also has a screened in porch alongside ready for outside dining. Sit and relax on the patio listening to the creek gurgling by.
Explore the area including world famous Rock Creek, the lively city of Missoula, and the countryside around you.

Fantastic stay

It was the perfect spot for our family to stay. It was quiet, the house was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed to cook and relax. Kiddos loved the loft and toys!

Great cabin to use for fly fishing Rock Creek

Very nice stay for a group of 4 fly fisherman. We saw some great wildlife including the big horn sheep, ospreys, eagles and even one mountain lion (from afar). The place was very comfortable and in a quiet and peaceful setting.

This is an amazing property! We didn't spend much time there as we were there for a family funeral...but it was amazing! 💓 It was so nice and the area surrounding the cabin was amazing with the stream running right there! Would highly, highly recommend this wonderful place! Thank You!🌸

Quiet and Perfect

Terrific cabin, location, accommodations and property managers. It was so nice to come back to such a wonderful place after long days of fishing. I would definitely recommend this cabin, and it’s on my short list of places that I would rent again.

Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed our time at the Cabin very much. The cabin worked out great for our stay. We did not do any fishing but it would have been perfect for that. The scenery was incredible and enjoyed seeing the wildlife. We saw Bighorn sheep every day we were there. Carole was a great host and was very responsive to any questions or needs that we had. A great time.

Great property!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. It was very comfortable, the kitchen was excellently furnished, the brook sound was soothing, the screened-in porch was a great place to eat and talk, and the setting was gorgeous. We even saw a herd of 23 mountain sheep as we walked one morning.

We had the most peaceful, relaxing weekend at this cabin! The spot was so perfect and beautiful. The cabin was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The master bedroom was spacious and beautiful, the master bathroom was Heaven, and the kitchen was my favorite! Great amenities and plenty to enjoy! I hope to be back someday!

Relaxing stay on Brewster Creek

We often stay at cabins when visiting MT. Solitude at Rock Creek did not disappoint. Great cabin in the mountains. Everything we needed. Kitchen was well equipped. Clean place. Loved the Brewster Creek running along the property. It was a great place to relax and visit with family and friends. Close enough to Missoula. Spent a day cheering on our daughter and others at the Missoula Marathon.

Peaceful Rock Creek Stay

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is clean, inviting, and sits on a very serene piece of property. Just a stones throw from Rock Creek or short drive to the headwaters. Not a sound at night except for the creek running next to the cabin. The night sky is amazing! I'm sure we will try to come back!

Everything you could possibly need. The lot is beautiful. The sound of the stream running was soothing. There were four of us and we had plenty of room to stretch out. Beds were super comfortable. No cell service, but the WiFi works great. I could go on. Make sure to bring food and drinks. Grocery stores and restaurants are a little bit of a drive.

Solitude

Solitude is an understatement. This was exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful setup. All the wildlife you could want and a stream that’ll have you in awe. The drive in was awe inspiring and the people all wave. Peaceful enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from it all.

Fishing trip on Rock Creek

This is an extremely nice cabin right in the heart of access to Rock Creek. We went for a five day fishing trip and were able to find many spots along the river to fish before the traffic on the river increased during the day. The cabin was very clean and was outfitted with pretty much everything you would need. It even included thoughtful additional touches like phone chargers and maps of the area. There was a major windstorm that knocked out power to the whole valley on our second day there. Carole was very responsive and made an effort to communicate with us and the power company despite us not having cell service and disabled wifi. Some of the neighbors also checked in with us. The gas fireplaces still worked as did the propane grill so we stayed warm, were able to cook dinner, and used candles for light. It ended up being a very enjoyable stay at this lovely cabin despite the loss of power. Luckily the power was restored on the last night so we could have some hot showers before heading home. Even though it was totally out of her control, she even offered us a future stay in the cabin which we will gladly accept! Thanks to Carole for letting us stay in your cabin and enjoying the beauty of Rock Creek.
