"This was our second time staying in this home with friends. We love the location, and the two furnished decks were amazing for enjoying a quiet cup of coffee in the morning. Also, the open layout on the main floor was perfect for relaxing as a group and spreading out to play games with our kids."
Crows Nest With A View - Hilltop Lake Retreat with Panoramic Views

"Crow's Nest is a perfect home to rent for a family. The house was close to the lake, pool and docks, which made it convenient for us all, great location. Check in was easy and Kim and Cody helped us whenever we had questions, The house was beautiful and so comfortable for our family, Each bedroom had it's own bathroom which was nice. The bottom floor had more room then expected for the teenagers and also had there own bathroom, the were all happy to have there own space. The view was spectacular. To wake up and have coffee on the deck, then dinner and family time was the best. The house came with everything we needed and more. The kitchen was so spacious for all ladies to all cook together. We watched movies and had plenty of room in the living room to spread out comfortably. Watching the crows, deer and wild life right from the deck was spectacular, our grandkids loved it. The pool was so clean and not too cold where we all could swim and play. The house was so clean, I wish some of our previous rentals could be just like Crows Nest. Our next visit to Lake Nacimiento we will definitely be planning on staying in the beautiful house. Thank you again Kim and Cody for making our family vacation perfect."

"Overall the house was perfect and exactly what we needed for our large group. It was clean, spacious, and well equipped with kitchen goods and bathroom needs. We were a bit confused when we arrived and saw a boat in the driveway since it wasn’t mentioned anywhere. But that was cleared up with a simple phone call and there was enough space to tandem park. Also, when we were there, there ended up being a planned power outage due to the heat. I don’t blame the host at all but not having power for 9 hours put a bit of a damper on the trip; especially on the hottest day of the week (100 degrees). We couldn’t find much supplies around the house for a power outage only one lantern. Luckily Judy had a few she brought over promptly that really helped. If this is a common occurrence I’d encourage the host to have a little power outage kit around the house with enough lanterns or flashlights and maybe some battery powered fans. Because it took awhile to cool down outside due to the heat which left the house stuffy even at 10pm.We truly did enjoy our stay though even with the minor inconveniences and would stay again."
