The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach
It was too cold to get in the water but this is a great hotel. It’s directly on the beach has great pools and right next door (walking) to bars and restaurants on the beach. They charge $15 a night for parking. I didn’t see that anywhere.

This hotel is in serious need of updates and a thorough deep cleaning. We booked four rooms for a birthday trip, and the experience was disappointing from the start. One of our rooms went three days without their bathroom being cleaned, which forced us to share showers. I even had to go to Walmart ...
