Water problem and poor service put a damper on our vacation.
I usually don’t write a review but thought this might help future renters on what to expect. The water pressure in the house put a damper in our vacation, the house is listed as a 6BR 7 bath but it’s more like 6BR 2 bath since you can’t use the other bathrooms bc the water completely shuts off if two people shower. It really made it hard especially with such a big group to take showers after the beach. We called to let them know but the communication was a problem since they don’t communicate through VRBO or don’t txt. When we called them we let them know some issues about the house; handles and a toilet seat that were broken bc we didn’t want to be charged for them they sent a contractor to fix the handle (something that didn’t really bother us) but not the water problem. Seems like it was too big of an issue to fix we kinda got the sense from the contractor that it was something a lot of families who rent this house have to deal with. The backyard was dirty and unusable mostly the sofa since it was filled with dirt we let them know so they could send someone to clean it since we paid a large cleaning fee but no one was sent. This house needs a lot of updating especially the water problem hopefully they fix it for future renters.

As of 8/31/22 this property will have new owners that are focused on fixing these issues starting with the water and cleaning up the backyard. Again we apologize but appreciate the feedback so we're able to take action and make changes.

Huge house with everything needed for weekly stay!
Thisw is a beautiful house and perfect for a large group. Plenty of seating options in kitchen/living area, balconies, and back patio. Parking spaces for four cars. One minute walk across the street for gated beach entry. The kitchen is fully stocked and allowed us to cook for 18. (Would be helpful to list the appliances available. We asked what kind of coffee maker, informed it was a mr coffee pot and didn’t bring our K-cups; found both mr coffee and Keurig at the house). Beach toys and chairs in the garage so we were able to pack less. Elevator is easy to use and very helpful on unloading and packing days. Would be nice to have a manual for how to work electronics; couldn’t figure out Roku gaming unit, last day found extra games on other gaming unit, multiple remotes and unclear what worked what and missing batteries in some, one dishwasher didn’t want to start (fortunately there are two!). Difficulties we experienced: Dryer didn’t work upstairs (fortunately there are two!), main kitchen fridge was set on 50 degrees upon arrival, and only one shower can run at a time with no other water source turned on. We called property manager for three days. Maintenance came out twice, couldn’t fix anything but wrote it up on his iPad. Dryer maintenance came out two days before checkout, told us bearings are going bad and he has to order parts but it’s ok to use as the only thing that will break are what he is going to replace. The dryer RUINED a dozen pieces of clothing with black grease stains and holes torn throughout after the technician said it’s safe to use. Plumber came out and agreed the water pressure isn’t correct then left, not sure what the plan is to fix it.

Lorry, we are very happy to hear that the home had plenty of space for your group, that everyone had places to sit and relax, that you enjoyed the balcony space, and that the proximity to the beach and other amenities was convenient. We're very sorry about the dryer issue and the clothes. We understand that there's a sign indiciating that the unit waiting for parts is out of order and to use the washer dryer unit downstairs. Thank you for pointing out that the listing needs to reflect that there's a Keurig in the unit as well. We agree it's a good idea to have more information regarding how to use the gaming system, and we will follow-up with that as well. Again, we apologize for the issues, but we're glad that overall the house was accommodating for all of you. We'd love to have you return the next time you all plan to take a group vacation!

Fantastic time!
We had a group of 3 families with seniors stay for spring break. The home and location were perfect! It is centrally located to all of the things and walking distance to several restaurants, coffee, ice cream and shopping. It truly is steps to the beach! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook giant meals. There is plenty of space both indoors and out for a large group to spread out.

House was ideal size and location. Had many small maintenance issues. Management sent people promptly many times but never rectified plumbing issue in one bedroom or one of the dryers. Pool Started dirty for 3 of 14 days and ended dirty the last 3 days. No can opener or replacement light bulbs for the ones that were out. House wired for lots of sound but sound system not working. Cable subscription had lapsed. House furnishings and room lay out was very nice. Management staff very nice to talk to and many different repair people were also nice... none of them carried light bulbs.

Right across the street from the beach! House was fully equipped and Mgmt company gave us great service and recommendations on dining!
